4. Formability not as good as the austenitics

430 Basic Grade

C. Martensitic Stainless Steel  Cr 12-18%, High Carbon (0,1-1,2%)


1. Moderate corrosion resistance
2. Can be hardened by heat treatment and therefore high strength and hardness level can be
achieved
