volume of the Personnel Training Publications: Ultrasonic Testing Lecture Guide.

Features of the Presentation

Features include text and color illustrations that guide the instructor through each chapter
of the Personnel Training Publications: Ultrasonic Testing Classroom Training Book.
Slides are presented using Microsoft® PowerPoint®.

A free version of PowerPoint Viewer 2003® can be downloaded from the Microsoft®
Web site.

PowerPoint Viewer 2003® lets you view full-featured presentations created in

PowerPoint 97® and later versions. You can view and print presentations, but you cannot
edit them in the PowerPoint Viewer 2003®.

The user is advised to check system requirements and compatibility before installing.

Using PowerPoint®
Instructions for tools and navigating through slides can be found in the PowerPoint® Help
file. To access:
o open any PowerPoint® presentation and
o pull down help menu.

System Requirements

Windows
o Intel® Pentium® processor.
o Microsoft® Windows 2000 Service Pack 3; Windows 98 Second Edition;
Windows ME; Windows Server 2003; Windows XP.
o 24 MB of RAM required to run PowerPoint Viewer® individually from a network
or from the CD; more memory is required to run additional programs
simultaneously.
o 9 MB of available hard disk space to install the PowerPoint Viewer®.
o Monitor or display supporting 16 grays or 256 colors and 640x400 or greater
resolution.

Macintosh
o Any PowerPC processor-based, Mac OS-compatible system.
o Apple System 7.5 to OS X v. 10.3.
o 16 MB of RAM required to run PowerPoint Viewer® individually (with virtual
memory turned on); more memory is required to run additional programs
simultaneously.
 o 24 MB of RAM required to run PowerPoint Viewer® individually from a network
or from the CD; more memory is required to run additional programs
simultaneously.
o 9 MB of available hard disk space to install the PowerPoint Viewer®.
o Monitor or display supporting 16 grays or 256 colors and 640x400 or greater
resolution.

To use PowerPoint Viewer®, it is recommended that you have:

o A PowerPC processor with a clock speed of at least 120 MHz.
o Apple System 7.5.5 to 9.x.
o 32 MB of RAM.
o Color monitor or display supporting greater than 256 colors and 640x480
resolution.
