    About this Workshop This workshop will provide an in depth introduction to Understanding a person with Autism Spectrum Disorder, in particular the Triad of Impairments and Sensory issues. This knowledge will assist those living and working with children or adults with autism. It is suitable for both family/whanau and professionals. The format of the workshop will allow for questions and discussion, and sharing of scenarios that concern you. You will receive a handout of the presentation and you can expect to have some skills that will help you in your daily living or work with some‐ one with ASD. This is an introductory level workshop, however you will receive sufficient information to help you understand how a person with ASD may be affected by the environ‐ ment and interaction with those around them.
