Howard University Exchange Form

General Overview
Howard University is one of the oldest historically black universities. The African
American Student Development office offers students in the College of Letters and
Science who have declared their major, the opportunity to attend a one-semester
undergraduate exchange program with Howard University in Washington, DC. For
more information, please inquire at the office, 247 Cesar Chavez Student Center, to
sign up for an orientation, or call 510.643.0442, for an appointment.

Program Requirements
• Must be a UC Berkeley student • Must be in good standing with
the university
• Must have a 2.5 or better • Must be a sophomore, junior
or senior
• Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program
• Must submit the application according to due date
