I. OBJECTIVES

A. Content Standards
The learner demonstrates understanding of planning, installing and testing computer
systems and network.
B. Performance Standard
The learner independently performs correct planning, installing and testing computer
systems and network.
C. Learning Competency
Familiarize oneself with computer peripheral, devices, systems in accordance with
established procedures correct operation and safety.
D. Learning Objectives:
At the end of the session, the students must be able to:

1. Understand the different forms of personal computer;


2. Explain the functions of different forms of personal computer; and
3. Identify the different forms of personal computer.

Before we proceed to our lesson, let us first have a quick review of our
previous lesson. So what was our previous lesson all about?
Guideline questions:

What can you say about the computers in this modern technology? Can you give
an example of a computer? How computers vary?

Discussion about the different forms of personal computer

IV. EVALUATION
Direction: Identify the type of computer being described in the following
sentences and write your answer on your TLE notebook.
1. It is a handheld computer and popularly known as a palmtop.
2. They fall in the category of laptops, but are inexpensive and relatively
smaller in size.
3. A type of computer which is intended be used on a single location.
4. These computers can be worn on the body and are often used in the study of
behavior modeling and human health.
5. Similar in operation to desktops but miniaturized and optimized for mobile
use.

VI. REFLECTION:

Encourage students to say their answers in English if the medium of instruction is


English; yet answers said in vernacular will also be accepted. Forcing them to speak
English might hinder their drive to answer. It is now the teacher’s responsibility to
translate it in English.
