Portable interstitial fluid monitoring system (2003)

US6591124B2

Abstract

A strip-like microneedle device is provided that includes an array of

hollow microneedles, a diaphragm pump to extract interstitial fluid from skin,
and a sensor that detects the concentration of the fluid. The microneedle device
can be interfaced to an external sensor to produce a reading or can be self-
contained. One version uses an attachable/detachable microneedle array as a
single-use, disposable unit. The device is portable and is used by placing one
finger on the microneedle array, and actuating the diaphragm pump with
another finger, thereby obtaining the fluid sample. Solid coated or
transparent microneedles could instead be used as an in-situ sensor, with
either electrodes or an optical sensor.
Devices, Systems, Methods and Tools for Continuous Glucose
Monitoring (2006)

US20060219576A1

Abstract

The present invention includes methods and apparatus for continuous glucose
monitoring of a patient. In one aspect a glucose monitor includes a plurality of
substantially cylindrical tissue piercing elements adapted to pierce the stratum
corneum and enter the epidermis, allowing for the diffusion of glucose from the
interstitial fluid into the glucose monitors described herein. In another aspect of
the invention, a glucose monitor includes a deformed substrate layer defining a
plurality of tissue piercing elements.
Smart watch device capable of analyzing detection result of medical
equipment (2018)
CN108227462 (A)

Abstract

The invention discloses a smart watch device capable of analyzing the

detection result of medical equipment. The smart watch device comprises a belt
chain, a display screen, an analyzer and a sensor, wherein a rotating shaft is
fixed at one side of the belt chain, one side of the rotating shaft is connected
with an outer shell, the display screen is arranged on the surface of the outer
shell, the analyzer is arranged above the display screen, a lithium battery is
arranged inside the analyzer, an information transmitter is arranged above the
lithium battery, a blood glucose analyzer is fixed at the rear of the information
transmitter, a pulse analyzer is arranged at the rear of the blood glucose
analyzer, the sensor is arranged at one side of the pulse analyzer, and a
microprocessor is arranged at one side of the sensor. The smart watch device
disclosed by the invention has the beneficial effects that the medical equipment
sends a detected result to the smart watch, the smart watch carries out format
processing on data and then sends the data to a server, and the server
generates a health detection table, so that a user can directly log in the server
to view the health detection table.
