 Preface

The successful completion of this project was a unique experience for me and I achieved a
better knowledge about Export Documentation. The experience which I got by doing this
project was essential to my future. This information in this project being submitted by me
contains detailed analysis of the project undertaken by me. The project provides an
opportunity to me to devote my skills, knowledge and competencies during my knowledge
gathering session forA study on Customer Satisfaction with respect to Exported Electric
Motors of Crompton Greaves.
 Executive Summary alignment justify

The project has been carried for Crompton Greaves titled as “A study on Customer
Satisfaction with respect to Exported Electric Motors of Crompton Greaves” by
GMTP Logistic. The specialty of the project is that it provides in a simple and logical
manner various steps, facilities and incentives relating to export business. The training in
the project was an exercise in familiarizing me with the business organisation in operational
situations. It proved to be tremendously beneficial to me as it provided an opportunity to
study the various documents and trade procedures engaged in export.

Apart from the major reforms, several other steps were taken to reduce controls and
simplification of procedures for exports. The result of these measures has been a perceptive
change in the trading environment and performance of the trade sector has stated exhibiting
signs of improvement.

Replace I with the researcher

The Objective of the project study is to the export procedures involved in the exporting of
Capital goods, the documents involved in the export and Understanding Customer
Satisfaction Level with respect to exported electric motors.

The EXIM policy 2009-2015 aims at giving a major thrust to acceleration of India’s export
through restructuring and revamping of various promotion schemes and wide ranging
measures for simplification and streaming of procedures with a view to make them more
transparent and easy to administer. Steps are being taken to simplify custom clearance
expeditiously and to eliminate delay and to Study customer satisfaction regarding the
export process.
