Varanasi is the place in uttar pradesh

state of north India. Some people also
named Kashi to this popular place for
Hinduism. It is known as relegious place
in India,it is the holiest of seven sacred
cities in Hinduism and Jainism,as well as
played an important role in the
development of two other famous
relegion named Buddhism and
Ravidassia.Varanasi is the city famous for
its muslim and silk fabrics, perfumes,
ivory works and sculpture.
Varanasi has been a cultural centre of
North India for several thousand years,
and is closely associated with Ganges.
Hindus says or believe that the person
who died in the city Varanasi will bring
good salvation, making it a major centre
for pilgrimage. This city is very popular
for Ghats. As i have already wrote about
the Ghats, Ghat is a sacred symbol in
relegion Hinduism. The famous ghat
named ''GANGA GHAT'' located in
Haridwar. At the ghat more than
thousands of people came everyday to
take a bath and wash their bad vibes
from their body.
The Ganga is one of the most sacred
river to Hindus. It is also lifeline to
million of Indians who live along its
course and depend on it for their daily
needs.
According to Hindu mythology,
Varanasi was founded by Lord Shiva,
along with Brahma and Vishnu. I am
going to describe about the history of
Varansi which was founded by Lord
Shiva. During the fight between Brahma
and Shiva , one of the Brahma's five
heads was torn off by Shiva. To be in the
Hindu relegion, whenever we go to Shiva
temple, we always see the Brahma's
head in the hands of lord Shiva, As Shiva
dishonored Brahma's head. After this
fight when Lord Shiva came to the city
Varanasi in this state, the head of
Brahma dropped from the Shiva's hand
and suddenly disappeared in the ground,
that's why Varanasi is considered as
extremely holy site.
The five pandvas, which were in the
movie name ''MAHABHARATA'' came to
the city for the search of lord Shiva.
During that time the five pandvas
remained in that city for the search of
Shiva and this city was considered as a
holy site.
It is regarded as one of the seven
holy cities which can provide Moksha,
Ayodhya, Mathura, Haridwar, Kashi,
Kanchi, Avanti are the seven cities
known as the giver of liberation.
Mathura is the famous place in India.
This city was named with the name of
lord Krishna and Rhadha her wife. There
is a big history behing this city.
Varanasi experienced a Hindu cultural
revival in the 16th century under the
Muslim Mughal emperor Akbar, who get
into the city and he built two large
temples to dedicate lord Shiva and
Vishnu. That's why varanasi is named as
the holy place for Indians.
To conclude about Varanasi, this holy
place has a great role in the lives of the
Hindu people, because of the Ghats
which is the sacred symbol for Hindu
relegion as well as it is linked to the lord
Shiva. In Hindu relegion, many people
believe in lord Shiva and Vishnu and they
pray to them or worship for everything
they have in their lives.
