Description: Motorola is a global communications leader powered by a passion to invent and an unceasing
commitment to advancing the way the world connects. For more than 80 years, our communication
solutions have allowed people, businesses and governments to be more connected and more mobile
They want to have an information warehouse in order to analyze the business and improve their customer
base by serving them better. Our team is responsible for reporting part of the project. OBIEE is used for
creating reports and dashboards according to the client requirements.

Role: OBIEE Developer

Responsibilities:

 Involved in designing the Star Schema.

 Creating and enhancing pivot, chart reports using BI Answers.

 Used different types of prompts and filters in Dashboards.

 Imported reports into office Excel and PowerPoint

 Implemented OBI security at the data and object levels.

 Utilized variables and initialization blocks in the repository.

Project#2 My Travel Inc

Environment: Siebel Analytics 7.7, Pl/Sql, Windows NT, Oracle 9i.

Description: My Travel is one of the biggest names in UK travel and part of the Thomas Cook Group of
Companies. Every year MyTravel provides thousands of happy customers with holidays, city breaks,
flights and cruises. All easy to find, fully bookable online, and updated every minute of every day. They
provides you with extra services such as free resort guides, plus upgrades, pre-bookable
holiday car hire, travel insurance, foreign currency, theme park tickets, and even airport car parking & pre-
departure airport hotel stays.

Responsibilities:

 Designing & Configuration of Siebel Analytics application as per Business needs.

 Designing & Development of Analytics reports and dashboards.

 Created new Dashboards/repots and made recommendations to report layout with

reference to table,narrative,pivot,chart views in Siebel Answers and embedded them
into new/existing Dashboards pages as required by the project.

 Configured Analytics repository metadata.

 Created hierarchies and new logical columns as a part of enhancements.

 Involved in creating repository Physical data layer,BMM layer and Presentation layer
using Siebel Analytics Admin tool.

 Presented the Presentation layer in a understandable format for the business users.

Environment: OBIEE 10.1.3.1, Oracle 9i, Windows NT.
Description: SMART is the Siebel Application used to track the Retail fund sales. 150+ users use this
application. Previously they used an application called ‘AVENUE’. Due to scalability issues of AVENUE,
they have developed a new application called ‘SMART’ to meet the current trends and replaced the
AVENUE with this application.

Role: OBIEE developer

Responsibilities:

 Extensively worked on Dashboards Layout.

 Created various types of reports using Siebel Answers.

 Created various reports in deferent views like Pivot views, Charts view (Graphical charts, pie
charts) Gauges and compound layout and table views.
 Developed Dashboards and Answers by using Prompts and Filters.
 Configuring the repository modeled physical, business and the presentation layer.
 Creating the necessary joins between the tables in both Physical and BMM Layer.

 Exclusively worked on the support side for the project after it went live.

 Responsible for preparation of Test plans and the development of Test scripts as per the
requirement from client.
