quantity review to be done diligently
before placement of any further
orders.The excess quantity is likely to be
utilised in 2019-20.

Further, Rly bd vide letter no.

2016/M(C)/137/2 Vol(ii) dated 31.07.2018
has advised to stop providing mini-pantry
in LHB coaches meant for normal
passenger and mail/express service. Vide
this office note (s) dated 03.09.2018 and
25.01.2019, Planning has been requested
to decide the cut-in for implementation of
Board’s directions duly taking into account
the stock/dues position. Layout of coaches
without Pantry eqpt also needs to be
finalised.

As per Rev-03 of Production plan for

2019-20 issued on 19.01.2019, 64
coaches are targeted. We may use the
excess quantity in these coaches before
deciding the cut-in.
