As per ASI'M E 1 65.
Acceptarrcc: (ANSI Ill6.34): Cracks are notpermitted. For linear indications (with length> 3
tirres rvidth) other than cracks, indicatiorls must be separated by a distance greater than the
lerrgth of an acceptable irrdication. Maximum allowable length of the indication shall be: 0.3" ,

Ibr tirickness(t) up to 0.5", 0.5" for t fiom 0.5" to 1" &,0.7" for t above 1". 13

For rounded indicatiotls (circular or elliptical with length < 3 times width), 4 or more indica-
tions in a line separated by 0.06" or less edge to edge are not acceptable. MaxirrLrm allowable

-, 9.0 MARKING AND PACKING


Details to be marked on each casting, using low stress stamps: : :

l. Foundry code, 2.Specification, grade & Mert number, 3.other details as per drawing.
Castings shall be suitably packed to avoid damage during transit. ,

Test cedificate for each product with following details shall accompany the product. :
