AND LAKE SHIKOTSU DAY TRIPS

Below are my sample DIY Sapporo Itineraries for 3, 4, 5 days. I also included Otaru
and Lake Shikotsu day trips if you wish to visit it too. These are just sample
itineraries. Feel free to adjust it depending on your flight arrival and departure
schedules, the number of days you want to spend, the things you want do, and the
attractions and tourist spots you want to visit in Sapporo, Hokkaido Japan. You can
tweak it and use it as your guide in creating your itinerary.

SAMPLE SAPPORO ITINERARY (3 DAYS & 2


NIGHTS)
This 3 days and 2 nights Sapporo itinerary is the simplest and most budget-friendly
itinerary I could think of. What I included here are mostly the top attractions in
Sapporo that you could visit for free. This is an ideal itinerary for those on a budget
and have limited time.

DAY 1 - DEPARTURE + SAPPORO ARRIVAL & TOUR

 12:50 AM - Departure from Manila (NAIA T1) via Jetstar Flight GK40
 06:15 AM - Arrival in Narita Terminal 3
 08:05 AM - Departure from Narita to Sapporo (New Chitose Airport) via Jetstar
Flight GK105
 09:45 AM - Arrival at New Chitose Airport (Domestic Terminal)
 10:00 AM - Proceed to New Chitose Airport International Terminal, pick-
up WIFI device and get your booked Klook products
 10:30 AM - Go to the JR Station at the basement floor, buy train ticket going to
Sapporo Station or use your Kitaca IC Card if you have one
 11:00 AM - Take the express train, depart for Sapporo Station
 11:40 AM - Arrive in Sapporo Station, walk to your hotel
 12:00 NN - Early check-in (if allowed) or just leave your bags at the hotel
 12:30 PM - Lunch at Ramen Republic at the 10th floor of Esta
 01:30 PM - Go to JR Tower T38 Observatory [ GET DISCOUNTED TICKETS HERE

 02:30 PM - Go to Sapporo Subway Station, ride a train to Odori Station, take
exit 6 or 16 then walk to Sapporo Clock Tower
 03:00 PM - Take a photo of Sapporo Clock Tower
 04:00 PM - Walk to Odori Park
 04:30 PM - Visit Sapporo TV Tower and go up to the observatory [ GET
DISCOUNTED TICKETS HERE ]
 06:00 PM - Go down and walk to Tanukikojo Shopping Arcade. Explore, shop,
and have dinner
 08:00 PM - Walk to Susukino, take photos or visit one of the bars or karaoke
shops
 10:00 PM - Go to Susukino subway station and take a train back to Sapporo
Station
 11:00 PM - Back at the hotel

DAY 2 - OTARU DAY TOUR + SAPPORO BEER MUSEUM

 06:00 AM - Walk to Sapporo JR Station


 06:30 AM - Take a train to Otaru JR Station
 07:30 AM - Arrive in Otaru, have breakfast
 08:00 AM - Explore Otaru Canal, visit the shops and the music box museum
 11:00 AM - Walk to Minami-Otaru JR Station
 11:30 AM - Ride the train to Sapporo JR Station
 12:30 PM - Arrive at Sapporo JR Station, have lunch
 01:30 PM - Take the subway to Higashikuyakusho Mae Station, take exit 4
then walk to Sapporo Beer Museum
 02:00 PM - Arrive at Sapporo Beer Museum, take photos, visit the museum,
have a taste of Sapporo Beer. If you wish to dine here, you can RESERVE A
SEAT HERE
 04:00 PM - Walk back to Higashikuyakusho Mae Station, take the subway to
Sapporo Station
 04:30 PM - Arrive at Sapporo Station, walk to Old Hokkaido Government
Building
 05:00 PM - Take photos and explore Old Hokkaido Government Building
 06:30 PM - Go back to Sapporo Station, visit Esta for shopping, and have
dinner
 08:00 PM - Go back to the hotel, rest, and sleep
DAY 3 - DEPARTURE

 07:00 AM - Breakfast
 09:00 AM - Check-out from the hotel, walk to Sapporo JR Station
 09:30 AM - Take the express train, depart for New Chitose Airport
 10:30 AM - Arrive at New Chitose Airport, proceed to domestic terminal,
return WIFI device
 11:15 AM - Flight check-in, have lunch
 01:15 PM - Depart from New Chitose Airport to Narita (Tokyo) via Jetstar

 03:00 PM - Arrive at Narita Airport Terminal 3, proceed to Jetstar check-in
counters
 03:30 PM - Flight check-in
 07:30 PM - Depart from Narita to Manila via Jetstar Flight GK41. Have dinner
during the flight.

You can use this sample Sapporo itinerary as your guide and adjust it depending on
the things you want to do in Taiwan, places you want to visit, your flight schedule,
and how many days you plan to visit Sapporo.

NIGHTS)
If you're have more time, you can add one more day to the itinerary above by
inserting one more day and make it a 4 days and 3 nights Sapporo itinerary. For your
additional day, you can avail a Hokkaido Jozankei Resort Spa Mori No Uta Onsen
Day Tour and have a ninja training experience.

 10:00 AM - Depart from Sapporo Station Bus Terminal


 11:00 AM - Arrive at Shiraito-no-Taki bus stop

SAMPLE SAPPORO ITINERARY (5 DAYS & 4
NIGHTS)
If you're traveling to Sapporo during winter, you may also add one more day in your
itinerary other activities such as the Snowmobile Land experience, smelt fishing, Lake
Shikotsu-Toya National Park, and Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival. You can do this
conveniently by renting a private car for a day for as low as ?2,060 per day.

 07:00 AM - Depart for Snowmobile Land


 08:00 AM - Arrive at Snowmobile Land
o Enjoy the activities: driving a snowmobile, learning the traditional way
of ice cream making, snow rafting, snow banana boat, snow tubing.
 11:00 AM - Lunch
 12:00 AM - Depart for Sapporo
 01:00 PM - Experience Ice Smelt Fishing
 02:30 PM - Depart for Lake Shikotsu
 03:30 PM - Arrive at Lake Shikotsu
o Take photos, cross the Yamasan Railway Bridge, enjoy the sunset and
visit Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival. Don't forget the night illumination.
 07:00 PM - Depart for Sapporo
