New grant sows seeds of growth for Milky Way community garden
WHAT: This Saturday, March 23rd, at 1:00 pm, MPP Bhutila Karpoche will be at
the Parkdale Seedy Saturday and Green Fair to formally announce an
Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) grant and hear updates about the
Milky Way community garden. The event will commemorate the OTF
grant awarded to Greenest City in late 2018.
Greenest City Executive Director Angela ElzingaCheng will speak about
planned improvements to this vital neighbourhood hub, and how new
features and programming will foster community connectedness in
Parkdale.
