Good Day!

The Engineering Student Council (ESC), a duly recognized organization in the College of
Engineering aims to impart the social significance of the students’ roles, responsibilities, and obligations.
The Engineering Student Council (ESC) of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology–Cabanatuan
City will be conducting its “First Iron Ring & Hard-hat Ceremony” for 5th year Engineering Students this
6th day of December 2017 from 1:00 PM onwards at NEUST Closed Gymnasium, Sumacab Main Campus,
Cabanatuan City. The said event is only for those interested students and it is voluntary.

Furthermore, herewith the budget proposal for the said event, other the miscellaneous expenses to
be defray from the Engineering Student Council to supplement the said event.

EXCERPT FROM THE MEETING OF THE ENGINEERING STUDENT COUNCIL AND THE 5TH YEAR STUDENTS OF
THE COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING HELD LAST NOVEMBER 20, 2017 AT THE ENGINEERING SEMINAR ROOM
DECIDING TO COLLECT FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS ONLY (PHP 450.00) TO THOSE STUDENTS THAT ARE
INTERESTED IN “THE FIRST IRON RING AND HARD-HAT CEREMONY” TO FINANCE THE SAID ACTIVITY.

WHEREAS, the ENGINEERING STUDENT COUNCIL (ESC) is the recognized political

student body of Nueva Ecija University of Science and Technology responsible in creating and
regulating student presentations and activities in the College of Engineering.

WHEREAS, the Engineering Student Council will be conducting its 1st Iron Ring and Hard Hat
Ceremony.

WHEREAS, the said activity will be a voluntary basis.

WHEREAS, financial resources is needed to augment expenses to the said activity.

WHEREAS, the ESC will only collect FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS (PhP 450.00) to those
5th year students that are willing to participate.

WHEREAS, the necessary expenses not included in the budget appropriation will be defray from
the engineering student council budget.

WHEREAS, the ESC Officers involved and 5th year students conducted their meeting last
November 20, 2017 and has resolved to collect the amount of FOUR HUNDRED FIFTY PESOS
ONLY(PHP 450.00) to those 5th year students that are willing to participate the said event.

NOW THEREFORE:

BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER, that the copy of this resolution shall take effect after the
majority of the Student Council Officers and 5th year class representatives have signed this
resolution.
