Objective I have multiple qualifications that make me an ideal candidate for the position of
U.S. Government Teacher (11th Grade). First being that I have a B.A. in Social
Studies Composite Teacher. Besides that however I have a long long personal
interest in politics and political science. I have spent a lot of time researching and
learning about not only U.S. politics and government, but international politics and
government as well. I feel confident that I can not only teach students about
government, but make them excited it. I believe that it is crucial for young people
to learn about the politics and how our government functions, so that they can be
knowledgeable and confident citizens. Knowledge is power and I know that I can
empower my students.
