Lateral Soil Spring Stiffness Calculation

The initial stiffness, KH, of an individual soil spring located at depth z is given as,

t = thickness of the soil layer represented by the spring, in

The soil spring stiffness values are calculated at 1.5 meter interval upto the depth of embedment as per the subsoil
investigation report,
