Samraat Sangeet Sammelan is a Conference of Indian Classical Music and all India
Festival which is being successfully organized in Goa by Samraat Sangeet Academy
for the last successive 30 years.

The festival has attracted musical maestros and wixards of National and International
repute since its inception. Maestros like Pt. Ravi Shankar, Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt.
Jasraj, Pt. Jeetendra Abhisheki, Pt. Hariprasad Chowrasia Pta. Kishori Amonkar,
Mogubai Kurdikar, Girija Devi, Ustad Amjad Ali Khan, Zahir Hussan, and may more
have performed at the Sammelan in the past. The Sammelan has thus attained a high
stature and eminence among all classical music festival held in different parts of
India.

The Silver Jubliee Samraat Sangeet festival was an event of great magnitude. It was
organized in the year 2004 followed by International Festival of Inidan Classical
Music at Goa, Banglore, Mumbai, deLHI, London and New York. We propose to
continue this rich tradition in the year to come.

The festival has been attracting attention of music lovers from all over the Country.
The print as well as audiovisual media covers the day-to-day events. Our reach
therefore, is far and wide.

We are now approaching the 31st annual Sammelan, with galaxy of artists, which is
proposed to be held from 24th December to 26th December 2010 at Ponda-Goa.
National-International events of such a magnitude can only be organized with the
magnanimous support of music lovers, donors, philanthropists, Corporates and
Governments.
