condemned the killing of hu-

campaign" against Progres-
sive candidates and their
supporters. In a resolution
submifted to the House of

day, the lawmakers said

Patigas, 72, was driving his
motorcycle home after cam-
paigning with fellow candi-
dates when he was waylaid
and killed by two gunmen on
a highway in Barangay

Negros Occidental, on April
