2G_RRU3008 Description V1.3

The RRU3008 is a Remote Radio Unit (RRU) based on the multi-carrier technology. It is usually
used in scenarios requiring large capacity.

The RRU3008 supports AC and DC power input modes and performs modulation, demodulation,
data processing, and combining and dividing for baseband signals and Radio Frequency (RF)
signals.
1.1 APPEARANCE
The RRU3008 V1 and RRU3008 V2 are shown in Figure 1-1 and Figure 1-2 respectively.

For S1, S2, S3, S4, S5, and S6, the 8PSK output power is the same as the
GMSK output power with the improvement in the hardware capability.
For S7 and S8, the 8PSK output power is the same as the GMSK output power
with the optional feature GBFD-118104 Enhanced EDGE Coverage enabled.
For the RF standards, see EN 301 502 V9.2.1
2.5 POWER CONSUMPTION
TOC refers to the output power at the duplex port on the BTS.
The typical power consumption is measured with a 30% load and power control
and DTX are enabled. The maximum power consumption is reached when the base
station works with 100% load.

DRIVE TEST ANALISIS PROBLEM 2G (GSM/DCS)

1.Ping-pong Handover ( handover yg berulang-ulang)

Solusi : - Down tilt antenna atau rubah handover threshold parameter.

2. Missing Neighbour

Kesalahan

pemasangan feeder, baik tertukar sepasang (full) sekaligus ataupun
tertukar pasangannya (parsial) saja akan mengakibatkan Cross feeder.

104 dbm) jarak serving cell > 7 Km ( site Pangkal dudat)
2. TRX Rusak

5.Drop Cal l ( Pembicaraan tiba-tiba terputus)

Analisis : Dropcall lebih di sebabkan karena lemahnya Rx Level,Rx Qual, C/I worst, Timing
Advance ( TA=21),karena jarak antar site berjauhan > 15 Km.
Solusi : Proposed/ usulkan penambahan tower baru
Catatan : Dropcall bisa di sebabkan beberapa hal :
2. Interferensi /gangguan. Ada 2 macam :
- Interference Co-Channel
- Interference Adjacent Channel
3 . Interference Co-Channel misalkan site air kelik sec.2 mempunyai BCCH = 21. Sedangkan
site sukamandi sec.3BCCH=21 dengan arah antenna berhadapan.

4. Interference Adjacent channel misal site Air Kelik sec.2 mempunyai BCCH = 15 sedangkan

Solusi : Setting handover parameter threshold.

adjcnt.neighbour (via BSC software)
- Trafik pada adjacent neighbour penuh - - - - > Setting handover threshold parameter (via
BSC software)

TAMBAHAN:
Nilai – Nilai parameter drive test
1. Nilai Rx Level : (Tergantung dari standard masing-masing operator)

2. Nilai Rx Qual : (Tergantung dari standard masing-masing operator)
0 sampai 3 - - - - > Bagus
4 Sampai 5 - - - - > Cukup
6 Sampai 7 - - - - > Jelek

< 10 - - - - > Jelek
> 10 - - - - > Bagus
4. Nilai SQI :
> 18 - - - - > Bagus
