(Completed after EVERY lesson taught)

Select (S):
On Wednesday 13th March, I taught Kg2 from Al Jood school in the classroom. The students
learned about the five senses, and the letter J.

Describe (D):
I had a lesson for Kg2D students, the lesson was in the classroom. My lessons were about the five
senses and the letter J. I wanted to make sure the students be able to describe the five senses and
their corresponding body parts. The letter J, what sound is the letter J make and name words that
start with J.

I think students did well and answer the questions. I try to make them exited by paly them the
five senses song, play the letter J game, and give them points on dojo if they did well. I also ask
them to help me by touch the board for me just like my MST did to them. I make them a game to
search for the envelops around the class, I take 5 answers and the rest answer what they had in the
envelops when they finished the centres.

Analyse (A):
Since I know that Kg2D are so active students they prefer to move instead of sitting on the carpet,
so I try to add an activity that allows them to move and search I think they like it. Also, they like
when the MST paly them songs, so I add a song in my opining. They had already known the song
I play for them because I had play it before.
Students were knowing a basic thing about their senses, they know the parts of our body that we
use to smell, see, touch, hear and taste. They also know about the letter J, the sound letter J make.
For the engagement

Appraise (A):
I think students react well with me, they like the song and the games. I think if I add more
activates, they will be active with me more. I do think that my lesson meets my teaching goals
(describe the five senses and their corresponding body parts) because they did very well in the
activates, I prepared for them when they went to their centres and they answer it correctly.

Transform (T):
I was very nerves in the beginning I try to follow the way the MST give her lesson to make it
more usual to the students. Next time I will be more confident, and more focus on what I want to
give in my lesson. I also will try to be more serious. I will be little bit strict so I can control their
behaviour and make sure they are quiet, so they don’t distract their friends. I will ask my MST to
allow me to change some students’ places so I can have control them.

My MST was very happy of me she told me that I did better than she expected. Kg2D are very
joyful and energetic so sometimes she had hard time to calm them down and I understand that
when I gave them a lesson, but it was a good experience I will d my best next time. I will try to
catch the student’s attention with a good activates that allows them to have fun instead of keeping
them sitting and staring to the board.
Also, next time I will manage my time better, I think the opining took more time that I planned
for.
