Following on from the talk given at the recent PAC meeting by John Malley, CAFOD Diocesan Officer a proposal will be made at the Parish AGM that a small percentage of the weekly envelope donations should be channelled by CAFOD to directly assist the funding of the work of the Salvation Centre Cambodia in Battambang. Six monthly updates on the progress of the SCC programme, which Bishop Michael has described as ‘excellent’, would be provided. Please attend the AGM meeting if you can. Nigel & Helen Gorham

SYLVIA and JENNY ARE LOOKING FOR TALENT On Saturday 6th December at 7.30pm in the church hall, we are having the annual parish party in aid of the Bishop's Cambodian Appeal. This year we need YOU to help. Can you juggle, play the spoons, create magic,sing, dance, play a musical instrument or have some other talent and would be happy to entertain us on the night, then we want to hear from you as soon as possible. CHILDREN’S LITURGY OF THE WORD There will be a meeting in the Church Hall at 7.30 pm on Tuesday 2nd November for all those who are involved in Children's Liturgy of the Word at 9.00 Mass at Saint Felix on Sundays. If you are not involved but would be willing to help or are interested in finding out what the children do, you also would be most welcome. SAMARITAN'S PURSE CHILDRENS SHOEBOX APPEAL Just to remind you that the box is out in St. Felix for your gifts. Lists of what is needed are there as well. We will leave the box out until Sunday 31st October. This year the charity will be sending boxes to Haiti, as well as Africa, Eastern Europe and Central Asia. It costs £2.50 to send each box and we are very grateful for any donations towards the cost.
