RESUMEN
En el presente trabajo exponemos las características, epidemiología, síntomas, bases
genéticas y posibles tratamientos para la mucolipidosis tipo II y III, una enfermedad
de depósito lisosomal causada por mutación en el gen GNPTAB, lo cual causa
múltiples afecciones a quienes padecen esta enfermedad de herencia autosómica
recesiva por lo tanto es poco común encontrar pacientes con dicha enfermedad al
igual que un tratamiento efectivo para esta.

Abstract
In the present work we expose the characteristics, epidemiology, symptoms, genetic
bases and possible treatments for mucolipidosis type II and III, a disease of lysosomal
deposit caused by a mutation in the GNPTAB gene, which causes multiple affections
to those suffering from this disease autosomal recessive inheritance therefore it is rare
to find patients with this disease as well as an effective treatment for it.
