Keeper / Peon.
10. Attend all sorts of work such as data entry, verification & approval of returns
of Dealers in the new web-based system etc. Verify the reports generated from
the system under the guidance of AD(S&P).
11. Any other connected work as and when allotted.

1. Monitoring of :
i. The key macro-economic trends, both in India and abroad, which has potential
implications for rubber sector,
ii. Transport and vehicle industries,
iii. Auto-tyre and other end-use sectors of rubber,
iv. Crude oil industry and synthetic rubber.
2. Monitoring the global rubber industry and identifying long and short-term issues
influencing the demand and supply.
3. Analysing the domestic and international prices of natural rubber and preparing the
outlook.
4. Keeping surveillance on rubber industry outside India by keeping updated with the
key developments reported through the media.
5. Drafting analytical reports on domestic rubber industry for reporting through
statistical publications of the Rubber Board.
6. Projecting long-term demand and supply of rubber in India.
7. Drafting proposals and schemes relevant to functions and activities of the
Department.
8. Planning and organizing sample surveys and preparing the reports.
1. Supervision and monitoring of the collection and compilation of data from Tyre and
Non-tyre manufacturers and verification of the accuracy of data.
2. Preparation of the grade-wise production, consumption, import, export and stock of
natural , synthetic and reclaimed rubber on monthly and annual basis.
3. Preparation of ‘Rubber Statistical News ‘ monthly under the guidance of Jt.
Director(S&P)
4. Initiate actions for collecting updated list of manufacturers from DD(EDP), and for
collecting defaulters returns of manufacturers and seek clarifications as and when
needed.
5. Scrutinize updated data and take suitable steps to revise the statistics accordingly.
6. Preparation and verification of tables and graphs of ‘Indian Rubber Statistics’ and
Pocket Book on Rubber Statistics.
7. Supervision and monitoring of the works done by Statistical Inspector & dealing
hands and in consultation with JD(S&P) prepare .
a. a)Anticipated consumption and stock figures on fortnightly basis.
b. b)State-wise consumption of NR,SR & RR.
c. c) Consumption of NR, SR and RR according to end products.
d. d) List of manufacturers whose consumption exceeds 1000 tonnes annually.
e. e) Distribution of manufacturers according to their NR consumption and total
consumption.
8. Prepare monthly Natural Rubber Statistics for ‘RUBBER ‘ and update Text matter
for the ‘Rubber Growers Companion’.
9. Prepare EFC memorandum for the scheme ‘Statistical & Information Services and
e-Governance Programme’ under the guidance of JD(S&P) and in coordination with
DD(P&PR) and DD(EDP).
10. Prepare monthly progress report to Ministry.
11. Attend works in connection with website updation in respect of the S&P Department

12. Participate in the meetings to evaluate the computerization of the S&P Department.
13. Verification and approval of K&L returns in which NR consumption lies above 50
tonnes in a month and verification of various reports generated through the online
system in comparison with the existing system and explore the possibilities of
getting advanced reports.
14. Develop econometric models / computer stimulation model for forecasting
production , consumption etc.
15. Impart Induction Training to Assistants/Jr. Assistants of the Board.
16. Attend the works in connection with RTI Act of S&P Department.
17. Prepare quarterly progress report on progressive use of official language in the S&P
Dept.
18. Attend administrative works in respect of the Department.
19. Supply of Statistics to Govt /Non-Govt /ANRPC /IRSG.
20. Assist JD(S&P) in preparing notes and other materials for various meetings in
discharging administrative /Technical works of Dept.
21. Assist JD(S&P) in conducting periodical surveys .

1. Supervise and monitor the collection and compilation of data from Processors and
estates.
2. Compilation of the weekly purchase of NR of major tyre companies.
3. Compilation of monthly yield of large growers by collecting the tapped area and
production from estate’s returns.
4. Compilation of the gradewise production and stock of NR from the statutory returns
(Form H3 and H), after scrutiny of the returns/ programme output.
5. Scrutiny and compilation of the statutory return, Form-H1(Annual), Action initiated to
get the filled up annual return, from the estates for the next year.
6. Finalisation of the number of units, capacity, and production etc. for the year, by
compiling the annual statements from NR processors, Action initiated to get the filled
up proforma for the next year.
7. Identification of defaulters of H3 & L1 , H&L, and H1, and action initiated to update
the statistics by sending timely reminders.
8. Attend all works in connection with on-line computerization of statutory returns,
H3&L1, H&L, H1 and annual statement of NR processors.
9. Verify the dispatch register.
10. Supply statistics on NR processors and Estates for the compilation of Rubber
statistical news and assist in the compilation of annual Indian Rubber Statistics and
Pocket Book.
11. Assist the senior officers in preparation and scrutiny of various statements and notes
and supervise the work done by the juniors.
12. Assist JD(S&P) in conducting periodical surveys.
13. Develop suitable techniques by using econometric models for forecasting Area,
Production and consumption etc.
14. Any other work as and when required.
1. Collection of monthly returns from Tyre manufacturers’ and maintaining their files.
2. Compile Gradewise stock , purchase etc.
3. Prepare monthly grade-wise consumption, purchase and import of NR & SR of all
type manufacturers and major non-tyre manufacturers under the guidance of
DD(S&P).
4. Collection of annual returns in Form K1 from manufacturers of rubber goods and
analyse the returns.
5. Compilation of consumption of NR, SR and RR according to end products .
6. Compile state-wise consumption of NR, SR and RR.
7. Keep the list of manufacturers consuming more than 500 tonnes of NR in a year.
8. Reminders / clarifications to be sought to defaulters.
9. Sending reminders to manufacturers who are not providing details of SR & RR in
K&L form.
10. Assist DD(S&P) in preparing Monthly Rubber Statistical News.
11. Attend all sorts of works relating to online computerization of K&L returns and
verify and approve the returns in which NR consumption lies between 25 tonnes and
50 tonnes in a month.
12. Compare and verify the correctness of the reports generated from the new system in
par with the original system generated.
13. Any other work as and when allotted.

1. Prepare sample list of holdings using multistage stratified random sampling technique
for conducting sample
2. Collect first inspection sample survey reports from the selected holdings .
3. Collect monthly second and subsequent inspection reports.
4. Send reminders to defaulters of 1 & II inspection reports.
5. Prepare regional-wise statement based on sample survey regarding yield & stock/ha.
6. Compile district-wise yield and stock /ha of Kerala (annually) based on sample
survey reports.
7. Attend all sorts of works in connection with on-line filing of sample survey reports
under the guidance of AD/DD(S&P)
8. Maintain Price Register by collecting daily and monthly average prices of Domestic&
International market.
9. Any other work as and when allotted.
1. Collect details of area & production from all holdings between 10 to 20 ha. and
update the above list periodically.
2. Consolidation and compilation of data obtained through periodical surveys, under the
guidance of senior officers.
3. Prepare sample list of holdings using multistage stratified random sampling technique
for conducting sample survey.
4. Maintain stock register for Indian Rubber Statistics and Pocket Book on rubber
statistics and issue the same as and when needed.
5. Collection and compilation of import data (monthly /annually) from Foreign Trade
Statistics of India & maintain import register.
6. Collection and compilation of area statistics based on the statements received from
Regional Offices in Non-Traditional region under the guidance of AD(S&P).
7. Assist AD/DD(S&P) for the publications of the Department viz; Indian Rubber
Statistics, Pocket Book and Monthly Rubber Statistical News.
8. Assist JD(S&P) in tabulating meteorological data and keeping important news item
from various periodicals.
9. Assist JD(S&P) in generating monthly productivity and stock /ha.
10. Assist AD(S&P) in compiling annual import data on rubber products .
11. Attend all sorts of work relating to on-line computerization and sample survey etc
under the guidance of AD/DD(S&P).
12. Any other work as and when allotted.
