During this year we could organize several programmes for the benefit of our Special Children in particular and parents and society in general. The following are the few important programmes held during the year. © Autism Awareness programme arranged for the officials of District Health, Education , Women and Child Welfare departments. 40 days Vocational Training Programme for the students of age 18 years and above , Parents , Special Teachers and old students, (42 participants) by SyndRSET! We are happy to inform that large number of Catholic Sabha unit members from Udupi and Mangalore Pradesh have visited Manasa and donated in cash and kind, We thank all the Catholic Sabha units for their support Lions Club International District 317-D Mangalore along with Karnataka Bank & MCF conferred * Sadana Chappale” award to Manasa for its outstanding contribution towards the welfare of Special Children. Last but not the least 8 of our students appeared for S.S. L.C. New Projects and Future Plans will be absorbed. They will execute projects and will get appropriate remuneration ‘Autism Center: As there is no proper facility to treat the autistic children, a autism center is the need of the hour. Aull pledged Autism Center with early intervention unit will be set up in Manasa to take care of the autistic children effectively. All the above projects will be housed in a proposed new building, The estimated cost of building construction and, necessary equipment is about Rs.1.5 orores.
