Narration: The latest graduates, also called millennials,

are the newest force in the work environment. Baby boomers
and Generation X all anticipate that these millennial
employees have a lot to learn from their bosses who have
been working many years before them.

Dramatic Question
Title/Captions: none

Narration: The knowledge and experience of a boss or a

seasoned co worker is an undeniable asset. But, what about
the knowledge and technical skills of a computer-proficient
millennial? Is there a way to tap the knowledge of these
high-tech employees of Generation Y and teach the less
tech-savvy business executives the computer methods that
they may not know yet?

Reverse Mentoring
Title/Captions: none

Narration: In return, the junior employees gain exposure and a

glimpse into the high-level executive world. It changes the assumptions
that seniors should only teach juniors, and allows for a new notion that
juniors should also teach seniors.

Narration: Reverse mentoring is not only for the workplace, but it can
also be used in any relationship. For example, when grandchildren teach
their grandparents how to use current technology, like iPads. This can go a
long way for the elderly, with the ability to FaceTime and access photos that
are shared online, by feeling that they are never too far away from their
loved ones.

Narration: When students give presentations to their

teachers, that could very well be reverse mentoring too. There
are endless possibilities for reverse mentoring in human
resources and in our everyday lives!
