We decided to conduct our research on Catering Bunda which located on Jl. Pramuka No.2 RT 001/007, Lolong, Belanti, Padang Utara, Kota Padang, Sumatera Barat which owned by Ny. Eldawati. As we did the field research on these catering itself, it can be said that catering bunda has potential to develop its business, catering bunda receives five until ten order from institution or another customer in a day where commonly each institution consist of 50-100 foods package. Since catering bunda only use the manual record for each transactions occurred, it is gonna be hard to find the data, afterwards the written record or manual record is not efficient because it will be easily damaged, lost, and another unexpected event. By the amount of demand from customer to catering bunda, it is no longer appropriate if these catering still uses manual recording. Bunda catering has to finished the order in certain schedule and fulfil the customer type of food package and others, but due to the unclear data recording and low communication to the customers. So regarding to these problems, we strongly suggest Bunda Catering to applying the “Information System” in order to makes the business run effectively, easily and more organized. On this modern era, the small business such bunda catering need to implement the information system. Even the simplest use of technology can dramatically improve the business' productivity and efficiency. Information systems gain their importance by processing the data from the company inputs to generate information that is useful for managing the company’s operations. b. Describe in detail the entities and relationship between entities From the customer’s entity, there is 8 attribute, there are customer id, customer name, gender, membership, package, categorize, address and phone number. Those attribute will be served by the admin of the catering, one admin will handle many customer thus creating a relationship of one-to- many. Meanwhile, the admin has 5 attributes they are Admin ID, Admin Name, Gender, Address and Phone Number which gonna show the tariff of the package to the customer, later the customer will select the preferred product. Then, customer Will choose a variety type of package that are available in the catering, in the "package type" entity. There are 4 attribute on package type, they are package code, package name, categorize and minimum order . Since there are many variety of packages types, the relationship between customer and packages types will be one-to-many.The package type have different price of each type, thus making a relationship with the tariff entity, "tariff" entity have 3 attributes, they are Package code, Package Name and Price per unit. It have a relationship on one-to-many, because there is only one price per package type. c. Prepare physical database design model
