Problems I may encounter when
researching and planning
A problem I may encounter when
planning what locations I could film
in is that on my black box I don’t
have a lot of miles left which means I ask for someone else who drives to
can’t drive far when looking for
locations.

when planning is spending too
much time on certain things (e.g.
storyboards) I will need to manage
my time well.

be able to fine enough relevant
information that I need.

Planning for practical and technical problems

A problem I could face when
editing is that my MacBook screen is this by using the help tab on premier
damaged and I can only see half
my screen which means I can’t see
all the panels.
Another problem I could face is that
my actors could let me down, or
they are not available at the same
time to film.
Another problem I could face when
filming is that my SD card could run
out of space in the middle of filming.
How I plan to resolve
To overcome this it means I will look
at locations close to me. However, if
there is a very good location I could
give me a lift or see about getting a
train.
To overcome time I will make sure
that I follow my production schedule
for when I need to do it and if I need
to carry on doing it, carry it on at
home.
To overcome this I can make sure to
go through lots of different website
and look through books for extra
information.
To overcome this I will make sure to
share my survey on social media so
that it means there will be more of a
chance for people to see it.
How I plan to resolve
I am going to try and work around
pro for when I need to save and get
different effects up. I can also try
and make the premier pro screen
smaller.
If this happens I will make sure to go
to my contingency plan to use my
back up actors to see If they are
free instead.
To resolve this I would delete
unwanted footage from the SD card
and/or buy a new SD card.
Problem Solving

Another problem I could face when
editing is that my MacBook’s hard
drive is running out of space which
makes premier pro suddenly shut
down.
To work around this I will use another
hard drive that will plug in to my
MacBook and transfer all my adobe
apps onto the hard drive which
means there will be more space on
my MacBook and premier pro will
work

Another problem I could face is that To work around this I can either try to
my camera runs out of battery do the bit of filming quickly, or I ask
towards the end of that days filming. my actors to carry on with the part a
different day.

Another problem I could face when To overcome this I will make sure to
filming is that if on the day of filming look at the weather app to see what
it bad weather it could mean I it will be.

Mid Project check-up (After Research and planning)

After I did the researching and planning part of my production I found that
some of the issues I had said before were similar. When researching I found
it hard to find enough information for each topic that I wanted to research.
To try and get more information I carried on looking through numerous
different websites for each topic. This then allowed me to get enough
information. I also got more research by looking at ‘real life’ stories to get
first hand research on how people felt when getting cheated on and/or
they cheated. When doing my research I needed to send out surveys to
gather feedback on my idea to help me improve it. However, I first sent out
the survey to everyone in my class but no one did it. To overcome this I sent
my survey link to individual people on my snapchat and on my story. I also
sent it out on Facebook, Instagram and twitter. After doing this I managed
to a lot more responses which then helped me improve my idea.
End of project review
After filming and editing I went through a lot of problems that I had to
overcome. When editing I found it very hard to be able to add things like a
title or even save my work or to undo or redo. This was because of my
MacBook screen being cracked. This meant when I wanted to do certain
things I had to go into the help tab and search what I wanted to do. This
made everything a lot longer. Another issue was that when I needed to use
the effect panel I could not see it. To overcome this I had to make the
premier pro screen very small which made it hard to see as it was so small.
Other times I would drag the tab across to the side I could see to be able
to use the effects panel. Another issue was that I could not open up and
edit on another computer as once you have started editing on a certain
type of premier pro u cannot open it up on either an older version or a new
version of it. This meant that was no way I could actually edit on anything
else other than my MacBook, this made my editing process a lot longer as it

would have saved a lot of time if I could have used one of the new mac
computers. Another problem I faced was that my SD card ran out of
storage. To carry on filming it meant I had to delete old footage what I
didn’t need anymore. I thought this was a better solution rather than stop
filming and going out to buy another one and delay filming. Another
problem was that on one of the days, my camera ran out of battery which
meant I had to stop filming and charge my camera for about 20 minutes to
be able to carry on a little bit. However, this didn’t give my camera enough
of power to finish the scene, so this meant I had to carry on with that scene
the next day. My MacBook’s hard drive was running out of space it meant
that when I would start to edit on premier pro it would shut down as it takes
up a lot of space to use. To fix this I got myself another hard drive that I
would plug into my computer and moved the adobe files onto the hard
drive. After I did this premier pro worked perfectly. Another problem I faced
was that when I was looking back at my footage there was a lot of
background sound from the camera. This made it hard to hear my
characters talking so to change this I opened up the audio on abode
audition. I had to take the noise out by capturing the noise print and then
changing the noise reduction settings. This was a long process as I had to
do it with all of the clips that I needed the sound for.
