1. Description of the equipment

The equipment contain a magnetic drum that separate ferrous to the non ferrous scrap, the
ferrous are sent directly to the scrap bay, the non ferrous are stored to the waste pit.

The scope of supply will include only the magnetic Drum with shaft, berings, and bearing housing,
electric motor and gearbox/sprockets.

A feeding equipment with receiving hoper will be before the magnetic drum will be in the scope of
supply of the buyer.

The needed drum dimensions

- Electric equipment RC-10-R, supplied with IP-54 electrical
cabinet, including magnetic field regulation system at I=constant
- Power unit including:
o Gearing with planetary gear motor (22 kW)
o Transmission with chain and sprocket protected with torque
limitation system

THE DOUBLE ENVELOPE IS CRUCIAL TO AVOID THAT THE EXTERNAL ENVELOPE DAMAGES THE COIL,
BUT THERE MUST BE A GAP BETWEEN BOTH ENVELOPES.

3. Technical data
3.1 Typical existing scarp
The scrap to be separate is the HMS3 quality, below are some pictures:

The scrap density is between 0.31 t/m3 and 1.29 t/m3.

3.2 Capacity of production

The installation will ensure a separation of 100 ton/h.

3.3 Standards
All equipment will be designed respecting international standards of this domain.

4. Guarantee
The supplier of the equipment should ensure a minimal guarantee time (to be discussed
later).
