Three Days to Live

King Foronda

I’ve been given three days to live. Three days to cherish all the memories that I have
encountered over my 17 years of existence. Three days to say what I have always
wanted to say, and three days to do what I have wanted to do.

Over the past several years, I have wronged a lot of people. Now is the time to make
amends. I will ask for forgiveness from every single person that I have wronged, and
forgive all those people who have wronged me. My parents are also the reason why I
lived for 17 years. Though it was cut short, I thank them for giving me a wonderful
life; A life complete with food, shelter, and luxuries. I will show to them how much I
love them and thank them for everything. There are also a lot of things that I want to
do before I leave the mortal world. I want to travel around the world; exploring
every corner that God has given us. I want to live my life to the fullest by
experiencing what it has to offer. Skydiving at 20,000 feet, visiting the Italian
countryside, touring the historic landmarks of Greece, skiing at the Alps, and other
exciting adventures is what I want to do before I die. Last, but not the least, I will
spend my last day with my most beloved one. I will tell her how much more amazing
my life has been ever since I met her. I will tell her that my life wouldn’t the same if
it weren’t for her, and I will tell her how much I love her.

I wake up to reality that I am only doing this for my Theology class. But it has made
me realize that life is God’s greatest gift. We must cherish every moment that is
given to us, and thank The Lord for everything that he has blessed us.
