I am highly indebted to my supervisor Dr. M.S. Khan, Department of Rural


Management who gave me golden opportunity, to learn the corporate atmosphere during
the summer internship programme. I also thank my head of the department and other

PREFACE

No professional studies are considered complete without practical work


experience. Every individual who is doing management studies has to
undergo this practical study one cannot consider herself/himself a fully
qualified manager. Summer training is the essential part for one of the
curriculum of any management programme. In the classroom coaching,
we generally get theoretical knowledge of Management. But this
knowledge does not prove too adequate. As in future, management
student have to work with the organisation. By merely knowing what
management is, they cannot be capable of applying it.

During my study for summer training at A STUDY ON CUSTOMER


SATISFACTION PARAG Lucknow. I came to know about the
working, duties and responsibility of the MM department of the
company.

While conducting a project work, the study has provided me that how to
conduct such type of industrial project work. Procedure is followed and
necessary steps are taken to gather useful information in the limited time

As a whole, I have experienced that practical work is entirely different


from classroom coaching and the working is far more different
