Delhi Public School Gaya made its auspicious


beginning in the month of June 2013 with a
record strength from Pre - Nursery to Class
VII. The School prides itself of a
progressing infrastructure with a fleet
of 20 new buses, playstation and
proposed swimming pool.
DPS Gaya offers a nationalistic curriculum in
an environment that fosters excellence in
school life amidst wide open spaces. It also
promotes the natural ability of children to
learn through development of their
cognitive and thinking skills and ensures that
students are provided all opportunities for
honing their co-curricular inclinations
through sports, performing and visual arts,
oratory and other creative pursuits.

Message from Pro-Vice Chairman


It is my immense pleasure in welcoming you all to Delhi Public School, Gaya. The school
promises to replicate the excellence that the other Delhi Public Schools in India and abroad
have shown in providing a holistic education to its students with great emphasis on traditional
values.
We have created an excellent educational atmosphere. Added to this, to encourage sports
and extra-curricular activities among the students, we are offering various facilities.
We have a disciplined, talented, dedicated, caring and charming team of staff, devoted to
helping students develop intellectual, artistic, and personal interests contributing to holistic

Message from Principal


Education is a continuous celebration. The education system at Delhi Public School Gaya, is an
intense search for the vision of what can be which in turn draws out the inherent force and strength
present in every one of us. Sincere efforts are made here to recognize and give shape to the
quintessence of every pupil that transforms an individual into a harmonious personality.
The strength of the education system at DPS Gaya is the presence of creative and innovative
atmosphere nurtured by the self-exploration to enquire, to experiment and to find the truth in the
best spirit of comradeship. The school experience at Delhi Public School Gaya amalgamates a holistic
blend of cultural, literary and extracurricular activities combined with a vast array of games and
sports activities to provoke and ignite the individual spark that is so unique to each one of us.
We believe in providing the platform which challenges the young minds and instills in them a pride

events
The school has hosted a string of commoving events where students and teachers
colluded equally to bestow some breathtaking performances and memorable
moments for everyone to cherish for a long time.

Independence Day
With the fervor of Independence the
institution gathered to celebrate its first
ever Independence Day. Our Principal in his
sententious speech made the students
perceive the true meaning of independence
and nationalism. The show brought various
Indian cultures together in one stage where
students emblazoned their aptness in
musical instruments, dance and intonated
the euphonic songs on Independence.

Teachers’ Day
Our mentors celebrated the birthday of Dr. Sarvapalli
Radhakrishnan, the second President of India, Bharat Ratna
Awardee and one of the most influential scholars of
comparative religion and philosophy. In school assembly, our
teachers were welcomed and felicitated. A few rounds of
Antakshari brought the best out of them and fun started
rolling in the hall with dance, games and songs. With a pledge
of being a true mentor and a perfect role model for the
students the event became yet another pleasant memory.

Pool Lunch
The school hosted a unique program to inculcate the
habit of sharing and understand the sense of
togetherness in students. They also learnt the
importance of healthy diet and in that belief they all
gathered food and invited the Principal and the
teachers to share lunch with them. The excitement
lasted all day with everyone contributing their best.
While everyone had more food than their appetite but
they were still asking for more.
Childrens’ Day
In a special program, Delhi Public School Gaya paid homage
to Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru on his birthday. Being a special
day, it was the turn for teachers to showcase their rare
talent apart from academics. Much to everyone's surprise
they sang, they danced and they set the stage on fire with
their exuberant performance. The applauds and the noise
showed how much the students were entertained to the
core. It truly was a show that will keep their memories
ringing for quite some time. The Principal on this occasion
made a special mention for the underprivileged children
that we should not forget them and should turn up for their
help whenever possible.

Spreading Wings
Our tiny tots displayed their amazing talents in a variety of activities involving development of motor and social
skills. They showcased creativity in projects like Expressions, Best out of Waste, We Care, Science is Fun, Colour Your
Imagination and Share n Care.

Mahalaya Mahotsav
The young students displayed their
consecration when they paid obeisance
to Goddess Durga in a divine fashion on
the occasion of Durga Puja. It was
heartening to watch as the little ones
presented a range of devotional songs
and dance acts as the program flowed
with cultural and devotional elegance.
Indeed, a beautiful show stressing the
eternal truth that good always prevails
over the evil.

Diwali Celebration

The festival of lights was celebrated in a great style in a special assembly in the month of October, 2013. The
program started on an auspicious note where our Hon'ble Pro-vice Chairmen and Respected Principal lighted the
lamp. Dedicated to the rich cultural heritage of our country, the program consisted of devotional dances and songs
which effortlessly created the spiritual ambience. And a soul satisfying treat to the viewers. The costumes and the
performances were of the highest quality making it a memorable affair.

Inter DPS Heritage Festival
A team of 5 students participated in ‘Inter
DPS Heritage Festival’ Uttisth Bharata held
at Delhi Public School, Rohini to celebrate
the ‘Vedanta Philosophy’ of the great Swami
Vivekananda. In the event ‘Bazaar’, our
students exhibited culture and heritage of
‘Bihar, in their stall Abhivyakti with
Madhubani Paintings, wooden crafted
items, key rings, silver jewellery, beed
jewellery and wall hangings. Also on offer
were local cuisines like ‘Tilkut, Anarsa,
Maghi Paan and Litti’. The dignitaries and visitors appreciated the glimpse of the DPS Gaya and heaved praise.
