1. Which renewable energy sources did you use in your car?

My car uses solar energy and a backup biofuel generator to get its power. Solar energy doesn’t
work at night, so batteries are needed.
2. What are the advantages of using renewable energy sources instead of fossil fuels?
Renewable energy sources have a few important advantages over fossil fuels. For one, they aren't
in danger of running out soon, therefore are must sustainable. They also create less air pollution
as they don’t release carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere.
3. Which renewable energy sources did you not include in your designs? Why didn’t you use
them?
I couldn't include sources like nuclear energy or hydroelectricity because it would take up too
much space and wouldn't be efficient. I didn't include geothermal energy because it requires a
well deep within the Earth that isn't possible in a car. I could have included wind energy but solar
was the first thing that came to mind and I stuck with it.
4. Do you think people in the future will have cars like the ones you designed? Why or why
not?
I'm not sure if the car I designed would work well in practice, but I do imagine cars in the future
being powered by solar or wind energy.
