Week Ten – Final production

EDITING

Did you finish your production on Yes, I managed to complete a first draft two weeks before the
time? deadline meaning that I had time to get feedback and adapt
it to submit my final production to a standard that I was happy
with.

How did you gain feedback? Was this I sent out surveys for my first draft to gain advice on what to
process effective/valuable? do to improve. Once I submitted my final production, I sent
out another survey that focused more on the detail of the
piece. These two surveys were very valuable because the first
one helped me to improve and get my piece up to standard
that was higher than before. The second one helped me with
my evaluation and what I still could’ve done to improve.

What have you learned from your From my feedback, I have learned that I could’ve added
feedback? more music and effects. I also could’ve improved the sound in
the interview. On reflection these issues were relatively easy to
resolve and I could’ve changed them in a reasonably short
amount of time.

How did your work compare to I am happy with how my piece turned out and I think that it
professional productions? compared quite well to a professional piece. I noticed that I
had unintentionally used some of the same techniques as
seen in professional productions. I was happy with this
because I think it showed that I had a relatively strong idea of
what type of production I wanted to produce and how to do
it.

Have you completed your final I have completed my final evaluation and I am happy with it. I
evaluation? have tried to go into as much detail as possible and I think
that I have tried to be as critical with my work as possible. One
of the main things that I looked at was what in particular I
needed to improve on. I feel that this has given me a better
idea of what to focus on so that I can now ensure that my
future projects are completed to a standard that I am happy
with.

Are you on track this week? If not, I am on track for all of my work this week
how far behind are you?

What work do you need to complete N/A
