Leadership Experience
● Boasted a yearly average growth of over 154% in both math and reading according to the NWEA standardized test.
● Held an average parent satisfaction rate of 97% over seven years in the classroom.
● Engaged students using a variety of teaching techniques and methods to ensure an equitable learning experience for
each child; methods include cooperative learning, learning centers, small group instruction, and problem-solving
activities.
● Remained highly active within the school community working directly with parents within the classroom, held fall and
winter parent/teacher conferences, referred students to the RTI team to provide students with learning services,
attended IEP meetings, and participated as a member of the professional development committees.
● Held several positions of leadership across three districts. Charged with identifying, planning, and presenting for the
professional needs of the staff within the schools.
● Hosted summer learning opportunities for students in Kindergarten through Eighth-Grade in all subject areas.
● Coached pre-service student teachers from Eastern Michigan University as they prepared to enter into their student
teaching semesters.
