Traffic problems:(how will you deal with sound/visuals from passing cars)

There will not be any traffic problems at this location as we will be inside Luke’s house filming
multiple scenes. However, we want to prevent traffic noise at all times therefore we will decide to
film around a time that there will be less traffic, for example 11am – 3pm. In addition, this location is
not directly near lots of traffic as Luke’s house is out of the way, this is an advantage as it will not
affect our sound while recording.

Local conditions: (could the weather affect your filming in any way?)

For this filming day we will still check the weather but it doesn’t mater what that forecast will be
because we will be filming inside preventing the equipment from getting wet and damaged.
However, if it is sunny we could use the chance to film some scenes outside near the house for extra
footage we could possibly use.

Intrusions: (passers-by, music, airplanes/trains, general interruptions to filming)

There is a possibility that there can be airplanes flying over our location, to prevent this problem we
will shut the windows inside of the room that we will be filming in so that it is less likely for the
sound equipment to pick up the noise.
Continuity: (is anything about the location likely to change during the shoot or if you return to it to
film more than once? E.g. roadworks in 1st shot/ gone in next, poster on wall/gone in next shot)

Yes there will be a continuity error in this location if anything changes in Luke’s room, for example if
he moves his bed or desk making it easily noticeable for an error. However, our aim is to film every
scene that requires to be this location for a day in order to get everything done under the restricted
time given for our actors.

Electricity/Lighting issues/Sound (will you need an electricity supply and is there access to one? Is
lighting adequate or does it need altering? What sort of sound equipment will you need?)

We will have an electrical supply inside of the house meaning we can charge any low batteries at this
location. In addition, we could use extra lighting or natural light inside of the house as it will not be
very dark. However, for the sound equipment we will just be using the rode microphone to record
the scenes.

Set dressing: (does your set contain everything you want to show in your scene or will it need
something else adding to it to have the impact you want?)

We will be having the main character use his phone where will we have to get hoim to change the
background to the other character Ella. In addition, we might have a photo stand in the background
of the two to address the audience that he always thinks about Ella.

Welfare:(can your crew/talent get refreshments and use toilets, do they need to stay overnight near
filming location?)

All crew and actors will be able to get easy access to toilets and refreshments as it is in a house that
we have permission to film in. This location we only be used for roughly less than a days filming
which will mean that we will not need to stay overnight near this location.

Possible dates for filming:

7/5/19 or 8/5/19
