Colombia. 1. Nature: I really love the nature. We are seventh country with the most water resources. Humpback whales, birth their young in the Colombian Pacific. We are amongst the world’s five most biodiverse countries in the world. We have over 65 different ecosystems. I love the biodiversity of my country. Our country is the first in bird diversity, because we have between 1860 and 1885. Colombia is a paradise in species of flora and fauna. 2. Culture I like so much the culture. We hold over 700 fairs, festivals and carnivals. We have many places declared as a World Heritage site. We have many accents, for example: El costeño, El paisa, El Santandereano and much more. 3. Art
I love Colombian art, the colour of our
landscapes, the nuances of our culture, the warmth of our cities and our people have inspired incredible and countless paintings, sculptures and literary works, which conserve the essence of all Colombians. A clear example is our great painter Fernando Botero. His paintings are incredible.
4. Food
I really love food and it’s obvious, who doesn’t like
food? I guess we all like food and in Colombia it’s wonderful to know the gastronomy so great that we have in this beautiful country. Colombian gastronomy is the result of the fusion of food, practices and culinary traditions of local, European (mainly Spanish) and African Indian cultures. 5 Things to improve in my country: 1. Education: I like to study and we know that when we invest in our studies, in our education, we ensure a good future and we get results. So investing more in education is the future of children, young people and adults to improve our country. Obviously from this point of view. 2. Health If I were president of Colombia, I would invest more in health. I would give more health instruments, resources for eps and a good health service to poor people. 3. Poverty Poverty in Colombia is quite high. So, as an essential proposition for reducing poverty in Colombia is that all Colombians have equal opportunities, access and quality of employment. 4. Security Poverty in Colombia is quite high. So, as an essential proposition to reduce poverty in Colombia, increase security in dangerous neighborhoods and continue to fight crime. 5. Unemployment Unemployment in Colombia is worrying. However, by strengthening the education system, people can access training and train them for a better job.
