Prevailing windy condition is expected to continue over the island during next few days.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in Western, Southern, Central, Sabaragamuwa and North-
western provinces.
Several spells of light showers will occur in Anuradhapura, Vauniya and Mannar districts.
Fairly strong gusty winds up to 50 kmph are likely over the island. Strong gusty winds up to 60 kmph are
likely, particularly in western slope of the Central hilly areas, Northern, North-central and North-western
provinces and Ampara and Monaragala districts.

බස්නාහිර, දකුණු, මධ්‍යම, සබරගමුව සහ වයඹ පළාත්වල විටින් විට වැසි හ ෝ ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි ඇති විය හැෙ.
අනුරාධ්‍පුර, වවුනියාව සහ මන්නාරම දිස්ත්‍රික්ෙවල සිහින් වැසි වාර කිහිපයක් ඇතියේ.
දිවයින හරහා, විටින් විට හමන පැ.කි.මී. 50 දක්වා තරමක් තද සුළං ඇතිවිය හැකි අතර විය ේෂයයන්, මධ්‍යම ෙදුෙරයේ
බටහිර බෑවුම් ප්‍රයශ වලත් උතුරු, උතුරු-මැද සහ වයඹ පළාත්වලත් අම්පාර සහ යමොණරාගල දිස්ත්‍රික්ෙවලත් විටින් විට
හමන පැ.කි.මී. 60 දක්වා තද සුළං ඇතිවිය හැෙ.

WEATHER FORECAST FOR SEA AREAS AROUND THE ISLAND DURING

NEXT 24 HOURS (Issued at 05.30 a.m. on 11th June 2019)
Windy condition is expected to continue in the Northern, Southern and South-western sea areas to the
island.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at times in the sea areas off the coast extending from Mannar to
Hambantota via Colombo and Galle.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in the other sea areas around the island.
Winds will be South-westerly and speed will be 30-40 kmph in the sea areas around the island.
The sea area off the coast extending from Trincomalee to Puttalam via Kankasanturai and sea area off the coast
extending from Matara to Batticaloa via Hambanthota can be rough at times as the wind speed can increase up
to (60-65) kmph.
The other sea areas around the island can be fairly rough at times as the wind speed can increase up to 50 kmph.
Temporarily strong gusty winds and rough seas can be expected during thundershowers.
Naval and fishing communities are requested to be vigilant in this regards.

2019 ජුනි මස 11 දින උදෑසන 05.30 ට නිකුත් ෙරන ලදි.

දිවයිනට උතුරු, දකුණ සහ නිරිත යදසින් වන මුහුදු ප්‍රයශ වල සුළයේ යේගය වැඩිවීම තවදුරටත් අයේක්ෂා යෙයේ.
මන්නාරම සිට යෙොළඹ සහ ගාල්ල හරහා හම්බන්යතොට දක්වා වන මුහුදු ප්‍රයශ වල විටින් විට වැසි යහෝ ගිගුරුම් සහිත
වැසි ඇති යේ.
දිවයින වටා වන යසසු මුහුදු ප්‍රයශ වල තැනින් තැන වැසි හ ෝ ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි ඇති විය හැෙ.
දිවයින වටා මුහුදු ප්‍රයශ වල සුළං නිරිත යදසින් හමන අතර සුළයේ යේගය පැ.කි.මී. 30-40 පමණ යේ.
ත්‍රිකුණාමලයේ සිට ෙන්ෙසන්තුරය හරහා පුත්තලම දක්වා සහ මාතර සිට හම්බන්යතොට හරහා මඩෙළපුව දක්වා
යවරළට ඔබ්යබන් වන මුහුදු ප්‍රයශ වල සුළයේ යේගය විටින් විට පැ.කි.මී. (60-65) දක්වා වැඩි විය හැකි අතර යමම මුහුදු
ප්‍රයශ විටින් විට රළු යේ.
දිවයින වටා වන යසසු මුහුදු ප්‍රයශ වල සුළයේ යේගය විටින් විට පැ.කි.මී. 50 දක්වා වැඩි වන අතර මුහුද තරමක් රළු යේ.
ගිගුරුම් සහිත වැසි ඇති වන විට එම ප්‍රයශ වල තාවොලිෙව තද සුළං ඇති විය හැකි අතර එවිට එම මුහුදු ප්‍රයශ
තාවොලිෙව රළු විය හැෙ.
ධීවර සහ නාවුෙ ප්‍රජාව යම් පිලිබදව ඉතා අවධ්‍ානයයන් ෙටයුතු ෙරන යලස ඉල්ලා සිටිනු ලැයබ්.
