Hiring company information inserted here.

Dear Hiring Manager:
I am writing regarding the _______ position that I saw posted on your website and other
locations. I have previous work experience that has helped me to become well trained in different
areas that I know will be an asset to your company if I was given the opportunity to fill the
_______ position.
I have worked at Reynolds Excavation since May 2016. Before that I served a two-year mission
for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints in Argentina. During High school I worked
as a shift manager at Rock Creek Pizza Co. and I was also a cashier and customer service
associate at Village Cleaners. This experience that I have gained has helped to gain a talent at
communicating with others and being a strong leader.
Through the work experience that I have gained, I have always worked to do better and do more
than what I was asked. At the young age of 16 I was promoted to manage shifts at a restaurant
where I would deal with customer complaints, manage fellow employees, and work to create a
profitable day for the company. I continued using my communicating skills as a cashier and
customer service associate at Village Cleaners. As a missionary, I excelled at a rapid rate. I was
able to speak Spanish fluently with 6 weeks of living in Argentina and quickly became a trainer
and leader to my fellow missionaries. I held the position of first assistant to my president for the
last quarter of my mission to help direct our work and increase our success. Since May of 2016 I
have worked for Reynolds Excavation. I started as a laborer and soon learned to be an operator
and assist my leaders with specific tasks they needed on the job. The general manager later came
to me to see if I would be interested in doing a construction management internship in the office.
Since June 2018 I have helped assist the grading systems engineer, project managers, and general
manager in building models, setting up GPS equipment on the jobs and heavy machinery,
tracking bids, creating earthwork takeoffs, tracking safety, setting up phones and computers,
doing field research, and much more. All this experience has made me into a powerful leader and
an effective communicator that can learn quickly and get the job done.
I am excited to hear from you and am eager to offer my skills as an asset to your company. I
would love to meet in person or on the phone and can be reached by phone easily in the
afternoons. Thank you for your time.
Best Regards,
Jesse Reynolds
