After reading the EEOC’s procedural rules located on its website, it is clear that EEOC
investigator Michael Mathelier has grossly violated my right to due process in order to
render an adverse, “final decision” against me.
Attached, please find (1.) my Notice of Appeal, (2.) a copy of EEOC investigator Michael
Mathelier’s “final decision,” and (3) a copy of my November 17, 2017 pleading which seeks
in part to disqualify Mr. Mathelier as an investigator of my case, vacate Mr. Mathelier’s
“final decision” and allow for discovery and a hearing before an Administrative Judge.
Although this same pleading has been submitted to the local EEOC branch currently
overseeing my case, I am submitting this pleading the EEOC’s Office of Federal Operations
to ensure that the statute of limitations is preserved.
In order to prevent this miscarriage of justice, I respectfully ask that all relief sought be
granted.
Best,
Carolyn Hicks-Washington
