Akasha:Land of Memories

This document contains various information from our rules, lore, guidelines and so
forth. The text within serves as an information tool to the community as a whole.
Relevant information will be added and updated in a timely manner or when the
necessity arises. If revisions are required or if you would like to submit
information, please notify an Akasha LoM staff member and we will get onto
working on this issue at once.
Akasha LoM: Rules, Banlist, Member Expectations, and More.

This document is meant to highlight and inform the general public of activities that go
against the rules, characters that are not accepted within the community, and other
things that will be highlighted for the sake of the member’s knowledge and to make
clear our stances. Do note: While some issues may not be highlighted at this present
moment, they will be looked upon on a case by case basis. We thank you for your
patience, consideration, and cooperativeness.

Rules

1. Respect and common sense are requirements, not options. Please keep this in
mind while discussing your issues with fellow members and moderators within
the community and its affiliated Discord servers. You don’t want headaches and
neither does anyone else.
2. Refrain from maliciously harassing, bullying, and any relatable synonyms with
other members. They are people too, and you’re wasting time doing this on the
internet.
3. Respect the staff and the decisions made by them. If there’s an issue, do not
hesitate to bring this up to a higher moderator directly.
4. Report issues you see to the staff when you see them. Be it from OOC issues to
problems that emerge within RPing itself should it be something important.
5. Derogatory remarks towards others, starting needless conflict, and so forth will
be met with appropriate action by moderation.

Noteworthy Things

1. Staff may deem various posts as non-canon provided the necessity. If this
becomes an issue, bring it up with ​other​ staff members to rectify this problem.
2. Discuss major community arcs with the staff before executing them.
3. Omni[insert term here] powers are typically unacceptable and banned without
discussion with the moderator. If your profile contains them, consider said
powers null and void till discussed with a moderator.
4. Just because you have requested to be in either the ​“Akasha: Land of Memories”
or ​“Akasha: The Other Side”​ communities does not immediately dictate that you
have the overall ​right​ to be within these communities. We go through checks of
most if not all profiles.
5. If you are banned and come back with an alternative account, while immediate
action will vary upon a case by case scenario, you will typically be banned again.
Discuss this with a moderator at your own discretion.

Drama Policy

In the event that senseless social media drama is incited between parties, expect
it to be handled promptly. If not handled in a adequate or mature manner via discussion
or the involvement of staff to diffuse the situation instigators and those participating
within the issue will be removed from the respective communities or affiliated servers at
the staff’s discretion. If you wish to return to the community in the event you have been
“unfairly” removed, allow a period of time to pass to gather your thoughts and speak to
the staff on the issue. Speaking to the staff does not guarantee that you will be
immediately placed back into the community, however.

Banned Characters
These characters unless discussed with a staff member prior to you posting your
character’s profile will be rendered unusable within Akasha. Typically these characters
banned have been either used poorly in the past or bring nothing to the story-weaving
environment we promote within Akasha. This list is subject, like the rest of this
document, to edits when deemed necessary.

Character Limitations

Note that given the environment that Akasha: LoM takes place within, characters who
reach unnecessary levels of power (typically those referred to as Tier-1 and others
varying upon different cases) will have themselves effectively “nerfed” unless clearance
has been given. This clearance can vary between acknowledgement alongside consent
within the post and those participating therein and moderation giving the okay for you to
do whatever.
Akasha: Land of Memories RP Lore

Synopsis

For the creation of every existing thing, there is a record of its presence, its value and
overall what precisely it is. This in itself is what is known as an observation, the
acknowledgement of a creation and what precisely one may examine about it and all of
its peculiarities within a given moment. Creation in itself is a rather peculiar art, as it
spawns more than merely another spec in this infinitely growing verse. Memories are
formed and a record among with them almost at a constant rate, thus the need for
observation lies ever more and more important as each day goes by like a droplet of
water in an ever-flowing stream. So, the Akashic Records were given observation,
creation and then purpose. With it came its own sense of observation of how the peons
of existence moved along within this metaphysical machine, memories of their lives and
for the lack of a better word a soul was birthed into Akasha. Taking shape as the
Owner, he would create a stratum of Akasha.

Within this Stratum would exist machinations based of the designs of men, women and
children of note that the Owner found the fondest of memories. Those would be born to
protect the memories, to bring life to them upon the Stratum, and then to govern it as
those men and women would in a myriad of worlds with their infinite possibilities. As
time passed, wars waged, calamity, nightmares and so forth fell upon many, a chosen
few yearned to keep living on despite the shackles of death or inevitable demise being
placed upon their lives. So they were given life anew within the Akashic Stratum.

Growing steadily as the fabled “World Tree” would, Akasha has branched out to a
variety of civilizations and utilized each bit that it reasonably could for the upbuilding of
the nation it was building. As time passed, Akasha had gathered a banquet of heroes,
villains and those in-between to fill its lands with potential and memories. Should others
come through a need for sanctuary, knowledge, or power, Akasha’s doors would always
stay open.
Locations

Note: These are the basic “tabs” available for the community to take part in RPing
within. Those areas not listed are either reserved for particular parties, unable to receive
a tab, or relatively haven’t much weight as of yet. There is, of course, the off chance
someone has forgotten to add them.

Akashic Regions

Waterfalls of Tranquility

The Waterfalls get their name from the peaceful Aura about the regions. They are
scattered about Akasha but the majority are centralised within one space. Rivers from
the area are said to be able to cross all over Akasha. The tranquility is said to come
from the Monks that use to live in the civilization there, their whole lives were dedicated
to peace doing anything within their power to keep it that way within Akasha. After a
time all the monks vanished from the region, letting nature take over their civilisation.
Once brilliantly sheened temples now have weeds growing through the cracks and
tree's growing out of all sorts of places. With nature taken over, man made spillways
have been blocked and due to heavy rainfalls in the area and unnatural wind patterns
water cascades down everywhere, thus making them the waterfalls of tranquility.

The landscape has a calming effect on you, thoughts of anger and frustration flow out of
you, just like the water does from the temples. You begin to think more clearly and
seem to become wiser the longer you stay there. There are some inhabitants besides
creatures but they are few and far between, preferring their own company. Strives to
inhabit the area have been executed by the Akashic Empire.

Wildlife throughout the region includes both average sized fish and amphibians as well
as otherworldly beings. If one were to go on an excursion, they’d find themselves
surrounded by a bountiful array of nature’s beauty. Of course, with beauty comes a bit
of fear.
Infinity Range 
 
The region is filled with Mountains stretching up higher than the eye can see and further
than most expected. Some people have been known to get lost in the mountains if the
sense of direction has led them astray. No one knows how or when these mountains
came by or the history behind them. They've just seem to be there forever, always still
and never changing. Some creatures make their homes here and the odd traveler who
has become lost here. Most make their homes in the sky or the peaks of the mountains
which stretch from the highest of points above the cloud banks to mountains no bigger
than the size of your foot, little more than hills apart from the peaks on them.

The plains of this range are similar to the mountains as they seem to go on forever with
no end. They do have an end which isn't hard to find either. It's a long journey that
makes some people give up and get lost or die on the long grassy plains. The terrain
has little trees and the occasional depth change but nothing else exciting apart from the
​ f course, among them are people who have fully adapted to
local bugs and wildlife. O
these lands. They’ve hunted and lived off the fat of the land for ages now.

 
 
Valor’s Arena
Valor’s Arena is situated just on the outskirts of the large Akashic City as the destruction
there can get out of hand quickly. As the name suggests this is where Valor is shown
through battle. The name came from an old warrior who used his life's savings to build
these arenas. His last words were related to the Arena saying this is the place where
Valor is Born and shown, and where cowardice dies.

The arenas are unmanned as there aren’t any officials there to govern casual matches
or not. It's entirely up to the competitors fighting there to decide the rules if there are
any. Multiple areas established for arena style play are about the large plot of land for
tournaments and so a few people can wage their battles at a time. Within the middle of
them is a building established for classes in teaching the novice class of fighters the art
of combat and war.

All battles are usually settled here as no permanent damage can be done to them, if you
blow a hole in the ground the next time you come back it won't be there. That said if
someone dies in there you must carry them out or their body and soul will not remain.

Among other areas there is a sect for VR and monster battles for training alone or with a
group. A variety of scenarios may be set for a singular entity or a party to take part
within.

Beaches and Oceans


The beaches and oceans of Akasha are large and wondrous. There are many oceans
scattered about Akasha, some larger and some shorter than the others. Pirates
sometimes roam these waters and can be bought of for a certain amount of coin
depending on the crew. The inhabitants of the oceans almost never rise above the
surface and due to the vast size of the ocean catching fish isn't all that hard. Neither are
sharks for that matter, but you have to have the right sorta gear if you want to catch
those.

The beaches are a lovely white sand colour to them, something no other places have.
The salty waves lap at your feet creating a stunning backdrop for sunsets and rises. If
you stay inside the water long enough scars will eventually disappear into normal skin
and minor wounds will heal themselves completely with no pain or stinging. Some

people have taken to calling them the White Beaches of Healing.​

Living Quarters

The Living Quarters of Akasha are provided for you. There are the normal houses and
classes, rich poor and noble but the unique thing is you do not have to pay for some
accommodation.

You are given something called the Volunteer Soldier housing for free, it consists of a
one story shack that houses two bunk beds (4 in total) at either side of the room. These
are constructed out of wood and the bedding is hay. You are given one blanket and that
it is. You may stay there for as long as you like, providing you can keep someone else
from taking it. Though that's highly uncommon to happen. Another benefit is you get one
free meal a day, breakfast which is usually porridge. These are often located towards
the older parts of the inhabited region, namely due to the lack of use the closer one gets
towards the City.

The places you pay for start at the middle class at very affordable prices. You get a
proper bedroom fully furnished and wet area (Laundry, toilets etc). You get a room to
lounge around is as well. This is just the basic home you can pay for which is relatively
low in pricing.

Luxury apartments cost a fair bit more, if you own one then you can make a tidy profit
quite quickly but they don't come cheap. In this apartments you will find a king sized
double bed with sheets, blankets and a doona. As well as a heater/ air conditioner in
every room of the house. Your have your luxurious freestanding bath and large shower
with a detachable head. Wardrobes are a given with some clothes in them already
which are to be returned on exit. They are formal clothing so dresses/skirts and suits
hung up already in there. All meals are provided and the length and type are up to your
choosing. You could have 3 courses of sweets or 3 rounds of venison if you like. A living
room is fully furnished, couches, chairs, coffee tables and a TV. There is also a
separate study room with a writing desk. ​

Church of Saints and Graveyard

These two places go hand in hand as the Church looks after the graveyard.
The Church of Saints is a Church purely made up of Saints, someone who is dedicated
to something Holy. These people have divine powers and tend the dead, allowing them
to have their rest in the graveyard. New Headstones are replaced and maintenance is
done on the graves by the Saints. They work in happily all day every day as it is their life
cause.

The church's second job is to find out all the possible religions and practice their
teachings for those who follow the specific ways. They do not teach just one religion but
many. The Saints themselves are not devoted to one religion, but serve to preach to

others the sermons of the particular religions they follow. ​Various do specialize,
however, in particular religions. A particular being is said to have been spotted quite
frequently within the areas. While many feel its presence to be quite oppressing, it
carries a sense of compassion and care as well.
Shrouded Forests

The forests get their name from the mists that seem to prowl and stalk the floor of the
forest. They only appear after dusk in particular times of the year and come in suddenly,
as if to take you away in the night. Stories of this place are told throughout all of
Akasha, ones to scare children. In truth the mists are harmless, but most simple people
don't know that.
They prefer to
make their
camps off the
ground and in
the tree's for the
night, hoping it
will keep them
safe from the
mists. ​

Within the
forests do exist
genuine threats
the deeper one
traverses into its
dark foliage. Various beasts mutated to gargantuan proportions, those of natural sizes
and breeds, or those yet discovered lurk within minding their own business. The further
one travels, the phrase “Survival of the Fittest” applies more and more. Plants with
varying degrees of medicinal and poisonous qualities exist in a large variety. This isn’t
to say, however, the lands are uninhabitable. No, there are various settlements within
and outside of the key areas of interest. A few military outposts are stationed here as
well for training, search and rescue missions, and for studying different species to
potentially domesticate and use for combat.

Caves of Prophecies

These caves on the outside are no different to your ordinary cave. Made out of stone, a
small shelter to keep the rain and wind out of a whole labyrinth of tunnels. These
tunnels are seemingly endless yet surprisingly it's very hard to lose yourself in them.
The name Prophecies comes from all the glyphs
and runes carved into the walls, telling endless
stories of countless lives throughout the system.
Perhaps the tell your prophecy? Not much else
besides the glyphs and runes are known about
the region. It's not even known if the glyphs and
runes are actually prophecies. ​

A few mines have been set around the more


desolate areas. Natural materials are in high
abundance within the few sites that have been
laid siege to. Despite the disturbance, the cave
maintains

Akashic City

The Akashic City (City of Akasha) is as vast as it is diverse. It's a city that houses
everything from several universes, the worlds within them, and even the cultures
themselves. As one looks about the divisions among the City, they can find sects
dedicated towards a particular sense of reality. Rather, a sense of home is allotted for
each member of the City. The closer one comes towards the center, the closer they
arrive towards a true sense of unification. A mix of all cultures and all walks of life can
be seen with the media, lifestyles, and of course the food.

This is due to the fact that the City is, in fact, living as both you and I do. However, that
isn’t to say it requires nutrients and the like. It merely grows and adapts to changes as
well as the desires of the masses in order to meet perfection. Presently, it is around the
size of a state rather than a mere city. However, with many people moving out to inhabit
different places, it may have reached its peak.

Despite its vast size you can transverse one end to the other in a short amount of time
due to shortcuts and special highways traversable by automobile. They transfer you
from one end to the other so you can enter and exit a place in relatively short time so
you don't have to walk the entire thing which could take untold amounts of time. Charter
as well as public transport services have been provided for specific if not all clientele of
the Akashic City.

The city holds many races and species, some mostly animal who speak guttural
languages that are incomprehensible to most. If you are new to the city you definitely
don't feel like a foreigner. With the diversity in races comes the diversity in everything
else, from the landscape and buildings to the good you can buy. All types of currency
are accepted as well, though hold onto it tightly as their are still thieves and ruffians
about all to willing to ambush you in a dark corner to get it.

There are soldiers all around the city, stationed to keep the peace but most fights that
are started in the city usually end up being ended in the Valor Arena where all sorts of
fighting is allowed. The Guards are supposed to be loyal to the city itself but depending
on the person a few coins in the right places might end you up higher in the social
status or a few crimes forgiven.

Despite this, crime is heavily looked down upon by those in power. The various factions
that have taken root, namely the NOL and JPs have taken justice into their own hands.
Being private groups, their methods of removing crime can be taken to the most
extreme of punishments, and often dissuades it as a general whole. Various outposts
are around for the Empire’s military, and they often take part in keeping the peace by
doing nightly watches around the City. Of course, on occasion, they’ll enlist the help of
JPs demon protection system to give them escorts with their otherworldly companions
to deal with higher caliber delinquents.

In terms of business there’s a variety of ways one can earn a healthy paycheck.
Working directly for the Empire promises a place to lay and a belly full of food, and a
variety of opportunities for work. The Akashi stretches their business empire as far the
eye can see. Small shops have been rising up and looking for workers, and many other
chain establishments continue to spring up around the City. Entertainers are in quite a
high demand for the Association.

With a variety of festivities, schools, parks, theatres and so forth, one could find a
variety of things to keep themselves entertained.
Chamber of Memories

Located within the heart of the Akashic City is the Chamber, which acts more like a
central base of operations, takes the form of what could be considered a modern day
castle. With the central body resembling that of a skyscraper that literally reaches the
heavens if one were to trek it, around it is a variety of smaller buildings set aside for the
uses of the masses.

As one enters within the Chamber, they’ll be greeted with a massive lobby area. Within
it is brightly lit and features a variety of areas for folks to learn about Akasha, sit and
have a meeting with a person or group publicly or in private, but lastly features a few
accommodations to those merely looking to rest and take a load off. Small shops and
eateries lay within as well in an attempt to generate another source of income for the
Chamber.

If one is to linger about the lower levels, barracks for Akasha’s soldiers can be found as
well as training rooms. Being one of the final lines of defense before one reaches the
Akashic Records, a majority of the infantry kept are some of the best and highly trained.
A JPs branch is located within the Chamber as well in order to keep a steady flow of
information circulating to and from the area in order to keep the entirety of the land well
established.
The key feature of the Chamber is how in sync it is with those who come into it. Upon
arrival a room is made available for free lodging to those who need it. Requesting it from
an attendant, they’ll be sent off to it. Their room reflects what reasonable abode their
heart desires, often taking the form of their old home. A majority of their belongings are
also transported into the room including funds (placed upon a universal spending card)
and more frugal items such as trinkets or electronics. Staying there as long as you wish
is perfectly fine so long as one doesn’t mind the public dining facilities and overall
communal feel of the Chamber of Memories.

As one climbs towards the top, they will be stopped again and again due to the nature
of what lies at the top. Once there, it is plain to see all of Akasha beneath them. The air
is chilled to a frightening proportion given the altitude, and the sun, moon, and stars all
watch you. This is the final passageway until one reaches the Heavenly Throne. With it,
the Akashic Records. A heavy amount of security is placed within the area, however, it
often remains unseen due to the ignorance of many who come near the Heavenly
Realm thinking of the peak to be merely a nice spot to take a photo.

Naraku

A heart of darkness doesn’t do the realm of Naraku much justice in terms of how to
describe the enigma. It functions in heavy accordance to how the myth of Yggdrasil
connect the nine worlds, however, Naraku acts as a pathway to all worlds should one
desire it. However, to get there one must traverse the perilous labyrinths within it and
face hordes of demons. It is their own safe place, the Labyrinths of Naraku. A singular,
unending realm for those shut out of the homelands of those who fear them is the only
sense of belonging they can lay siege to.

Within Naraku lay a few bases of where various hunters stay to keep demons at bay, or
to guide others to the destinations needed. Of course, there are outposts there as well
specifically to investigate the doors to other worlds as well. Remnants from an
experiment called the “Trials” lay towards the middle of the area…

As one traverses it, the land pulsates a different color to show where you lie. Deeper
reds show that you’re nearing the center. Oranges and yellows show that you are
nearing the edge, and becoming closer to an Akashic Rift to leave once and for all while
blues and purples show that you are getting closer to a door. However, demons make
their nests near the doors of new worlds… It’d be best to tread carefully.

Heavenly Realm - The Akashic Records


Above all the eye can potentially see is a realm only a chosen few can access. Even
those who enter cannot truly understand what lies within. The expanse above is painted
with a fine set of paintbrushes, their strokes leave a sense of leaving the Earthly stratum
behind and coming to a new home entirely. It’s quite endless, the Heavenly Realm, but
it’s also filled with nothing but thoughts lost to time itself and an infinite amount of
memories. If one is to glance off into the “sky” they can see both the waking dawn,
rising morning, tides of noon, a blanket of dusk and the kiss of the night skies all at
once.

Therein the Realm lies a singular Throne. It isn’t betrothed with gemstones, incense,
trinkets or even a seat of power… No, with it comes a singular item. Authority. To see
the possibilities that have occurred, presently could, are, and will eventually occur is
both a curse and burden when one cannot act upon it knowing that fate is but a fickle
concept. The Akashic Records grant the one who sits upon that Throne complete
dominance over all things that Akasha touches. A power to create, a power to destroy,
and a power to learn from… All in one location.

The Throne, too, is but another line of defense before the Akashic Records. The Owner
is to act as the final guard to existence itself. If one were to corrupt or mutilate the
Records, all would fall to naught. Everything we have worked to thus far would be
ruined, or potentially molded into something less than desirable. However, the cycle will
start again… Only “how” would be the question.
Cities / Settlements Within Akasha

Due to the creation of the Akatheon, the influx of a myriad of parties coming either to
serve Akasha, learn within it, merely to explore the reaches of a multiverse, or any other
reason, cities were also created in order to prevent overcrowding of the ever expanding
Akashic City, provide recognition to territories claimed and developed by the natives,
spread commerce/culture/etc, and for the true settlement of the sanctuary Akasha
provides. Many if not all known provinces are reinforced and protected by the shield of
the Dragon Stream that Yamato Hotsuin provides and their own various protections via
the Akathon (typically one favoring a particular sect due to the abundance of a particular
type of Aether), the Akashic Knights, the Order of Agnis, NOL and JPs forces.

Furthermore, each “area” within Akasha functions as a City-State in its own right. An
example would be “Atlantis” being the capital of the Waterfalls of Tranquility region. This
would mean that there are smaller settlements, towns, and so forth around that one may
also explore.

Atlantis
Despite what the name implies, Atlantis is sadly not the long lost city, but rather a
renovation of such a place. Stationed outside and within the Waterfalls of Tranquility are
a plethora of homes and smaller towns which connect to the larger, broader city area
that Atlantis is. Overall, it functions as a heavy transporter point due to the rivers it is
connected to, and as a highly sought out tourist attraction due to the mix of natural and
artificial beauty it bestows upon the landscape. However, it isn’t merely just a point of
trade and beauty, but also offers a paradise for those loving the extremes of boating
and the like as well! Atlantis also serves as something of a retirement community,
allowing many to take a load off from the hard work they’ve invested into the betterment
of Akasha for years on end, and go off to play some games of golf or enjoy one of the
many fine eateries.

Lapis

Being the ever expanding city strip that constricts the coast of Akasha in its embrace of
lavish vacation spots, smaller towns dedicated to fishing or perhaps universities, the
plethora of places to enjoy games from casual sports to even gambling, and also
serving as the hub of culinary creations, Lapis has a slice of life that everyone can find
enjoyment in. Serving as one of the strongest in regards to modernization with not only
architecture, but the way of living as well, Lapis boasts a highly lavish, but pricey
lifestyle depending on what one is looking for.

Due to being stationed upon the coastlines of Akasha, it works in sync with Atlantis in
order to create a fantastic study on marine life, and features an aquarium that serves as
the finest in Akasha for the breadth of lifeforms it covers and the amount of research
that has been completed upon them.

In regards to the amount of land it possesses, Lapis extends beyond merely the
coastlines of Akasha. It actually does hold an archipelago under its domain among a
few underwater cities for those more attuned to the aquatic side of life as well. Overall,
these lead to a rather abundant amount of farming of particular vegetation and fish.

Brimhallow

Despite the forests being a rather dark place at times, there’s not much to fear from
Brimhallow at all. Being rather “at one” with nature, Brimhallow offers a plethora of
activities and the like to those who also wish to connect with themselves. Of course, that
isn’t the fullest extent of what Brimhallow is utilized for. Ultimately, it’s a community
founded upon the premise of furthering itself in the arts of music, sciences, and of
course the study of the animals all about the region.

Brimhallow is known for the maze of a city that it is, and the extensive parks and nature
reservations reserved for wildlife that would rather be left alone than prodded by a
bunch of magically imbued parties with pointy sticks. Aside from that, homes are built
within nature itself from the trees to even the rocks should there be a suitable amount.
Studies on medicine and different lifeforms make up the bulk of scientific practices.

Religious folk and those of a faith will often come to Brimhallow in order to separate
themselves from the temptations of the world and to study their beliefs and the practices
that go alongside it. There are many segments of Brimhallow devoted to various
pilgrimages and retreats that various religious groups find high praise for due to the
upkeep and fresh, healthy foodstuffs provided by the rich farmlands and greenhouses
that Brimhallow also plays a heavy hand in running. They can mass produce foods for
Akasha if the need ever came for it.

Eternus

Through all walks of life, a mountain is something that can be attributed to one of many
goals as one is consistently working through countless trials, something that possesses
the capability of being a citadel for the masses, but most importantly it stands firm and
unmovable by those who possess little strength or volition. As such, Eternus makes its
mark by embodying that of what it finds its land upon, a mountain.

Throughout the entirety of Eternus, while keeping a more modern and advanced vibe, it
drifts within a highly gothic style of its architecture. By this, it goes to further
demonstrate the culture that can be found about the land, that of keeping order and
ensuring that there is a sense of pride while living within the massive walls and borders
that it possesses. While being an area that exists within a multitude of mountains,
Eternus prides itself on its own efficiency.

Much like its cavey neighbor, Eternus is also rather prominent in raising stellar athletes,
soldiers, and so forth given the conditions in which they live within. This is also due to
how their schooling is deemed rather “professional” as well, a few academies existing to
teach children from age 5 to their early adult years as needed and depending on their
occupation. A vast variety of jobs can be found within this land, and trade is rather
bountiful in exchange for labor and the protection that Eternus can provide.
Even more exhilarating is the presence of dragons that exist within the mountains of
Eternus. While most are rather docile, living at peace due to the presence of their
Akatheon lord, there are occasionally those that will sweep low to stir trouble in smaller
settlements at the foot of these mountains.

Domhaim

Through and through, Domhaim is a region that is defined by the vast cave systems that
twist and turn throughout the entirety of it. Due to this, its settlements function both as
your typical cities and extensive underground cities as well. Considering the rich amount
of material that lie below the bowels of Akasha, continuously given shape and form by
the high amounts of Earth Aether that lie about, it is a rather profitable place for trading
basic materials. Often times, it will be found in conjunction with the other various lands
about Akasha to further assist them in their architectural and technological goals.

If one is to continue traversing through the region of Domhain, they will come to realize
that it is to act not only as a “final haven” to those who can’t make it to the gem of
Akasha itself, but it also houses a great many ancient homes for those who existed
within Akasha’s grace for quite a long while, before the start of even this “reality”.
Due to the landmark that finds its home within the Domhaim province, there are a
variety of “elders” and those with strong beliefs in raising and cultivating heroes who can
reenact the feats of “heroes” and “stories” that can be found about all realities. In
addition, Domhaim focuses on the recreation of “imitation” weapons with the rare
materials that they procure within their vast monopoly of resources.

Aruleia

Aruleia is a simple civilisation with a blend of archaic architecture. It is housed up against


the side of a mountain which offers the land protection and a steady source of minerals and
precious gemstones. The city is beautiful to the eye with a certain golden hue to the city and
it's architecture, especially the Palace which backs onto a mountain. The city itself is vast
but moderate in size compared to Akasha City. It houses lush green pastures outside its city
and rich natural resources inside the mountain.

The city was made of magic by an unknown man, though there is a plaque near a lone tree
which has a riddle scribed upon it, with the answer being the founder’s name. The history of
the city is largely unknown still, even to the Royal Queen which presides over the city.

Aruleia is a sentient city which protects her people. In the past when it has been attacked,
rocks of nearby mountains have come down crushing enemy lines, the trees have shot their
roots out snaking up battle lines and drawing them down into despair. Adding to it's
sentience is the constant test to rule, only those with Strength, Courage and a sense of
Liberty will rule here. The tree's overlooking the city provided a sense of security and
peace, as if Mother Nature herself was looking out for you with her protective gaze.

For now it is to the east of the City of Akasha, distinguishable off in the distance by the great
oak tree that has grown into the side of the mountain. Warriors or those of fighting prowess
are seemingly drawn to the city.

Terms of Akasha

Administrative Authority

The right to rule over Akasha. Six pieces exist overall of the Authority, each granting
power to the wielder to manipulate the plane however they will among other abilities:
typically use of Aether, being able to strike at an individual’s true existence and so forth.
Should a being gather all six and go to the Heavenly Realm, they may ascend and
become the Owner of Akasha.

Akatheon

In short, the Akatheon are the Guardian Deities of Akasha and they number up to six in
all. Each of them embody a certain aspect of “Akasha” or rather what is known as
“Aether” itself. Partly explained above, they are as follows: Fire, Water, Wind, Earth,
Energy and lastly the Void or the absence of Aether. Each of these are channeled into
one centric observation: some taking heavy inspiration of gods or any mythos, others
are from personal beliefs and lastly there is ultimately the form in which their creator
formed them to have via the many present concepts needed to give them a physical
shell or simply a body.

Ultimately the Akatheon are “stationed” in the certain aspects of Akasha in which their
core amount of Aether is the strongest or an area in which is deemed to be highly
important. They are present in order to defend and protect a variety of things from the
Records, to Authorities and obviously the people within Akasha. That isn’t to say,
however, that they aren’t without their own individual goals and personal viewpoints
either. Some are rather hospitable to the generic passerby, often protecting them
unknowingly from threats with their blessings and others couldn’t care less until it
becomes blatantly obvious that man cannot defend themselves.

Within times of strife and warfare, they will often form covenants with those who they
deem as worthy or ultimately needing of power that they haven’t any access to. This
being the case, there are many who will try to force pacts and take under a challenge
issued by them should they not be a wielder of an “Authority” of Akasha. In regards to
the “Authority” one may have over them, it comes down to simply who has control of
Akasha. They will follow that person’s wish to their dying breath.

Akashic Records

As a whole, the Akashic Records are what have comprised Akasha as a whole. They
are a metaphysical construct capable of storing any and all information that it comes
across. This includes data taken in from other worlds of inhabitants that touch Akasha.
Power of manipulating these Records to learn, edit and destroy are saved almost
exclusively to those of the tier of Overseer and higher. Ultimately, this data can only be
touched by those deemed worthy by Akasha: the Owner, Overseer, Records Keepers,
Admins, and so forth.

Akashic Rifts

The primary cause for many arrivals into Akasha. The Rifts function at random typically
and offer portals to various spots in Akasha every now and again. They are used by
Akasha to act as “Gates” to gather those with potential to protect it or challenge those
within.
Deathless

In the simplest of terms, they are what they are. Those who have been forsaken by the
grasp of death. Often, their base forms will take humanoid shape. Solidifying their
presence will be the absence of color, or rather a feeling of what “reality” they’re within
being bent to accommodate their presence. With the only radiating color being shown is
within their eyes giving a deep crimson shade to those who take a glance.

Deathless hold an absence of actual form, though. They are based off of what the
observer views as a monster or rather a threat ingrained in them since they first picked
up the role of combat. This varies from beasts of fictional franchises, other abominations
of humans, perverse nightmares and much, much more. This is due to them being
similar to Akasha in nature. While the Records hold recollection of “what” or “who” these
beings were, they do not. They simply conform to what they see to be fit.

Embodiment

Within the singular multiverse that Akasha initially presided over, the Embodiments
were the base inspiration to the gods of various mythos. As their need arose yet again
to even odds in whichever favor the Stratum desired, they were given form yet again.
The Embodiments take a concept and enable it to be manipulated by a singular entity.
However, only those within Class XIII have been given an inkling of that power
bestowed to the Original Embodiments. In terms of power they range from that of
demigods to gods themselves.

Terms of the Hierarchy

Owner - Master of Memories

One can muse over the concept of holding ownership over all, but to be the one who
holds the Akashic Records embodies that entirely. They are quite literally the King or
Queen of the Land of Memories, and the protector of all that exists. This is a being
whose sole purpose is to protect what allows things to flow, to observe all potential
events, and to allow everything to continue ever onwards. Within their powers is the
right to erase or create things that aren’t or are needed direly, but even that has a limit.
Rules are given from the Owner’s mouth for others to follow, much like the essential
leader that all civilised places have. However, there are those who assist in the Owner’s
steed to enforce and protect.
Overseer

In the event that there lies no true body upon the Throne, holding absolute power and
the like, it falls to the one withholding the most Authority over the Throne. They exist in
part, similarly to the Owner, but may only make minor edits and reparations to the
Akashic Records and the field it has power over. Ultimately, they are much like a
gatekeeper who can harness the power of Akasha in spurts depending on how they go
about doing so and the amount of Authorities they have.

Record Keeper

A set or singular entity whose single purpose is to assist in observing the realms beyond
Akasha, within Akasha, and to protect the Akashic Records. These beings are often
crafted by the Owner themselves, and are tied exclusively to their own lives. Given their
own sense of self, they work exclusively for the Owner and more importantly the
Records. While their power is threatening, it should be noted that it is their own upon
creation. Not strictly coming from the Owner.

Administrator

The one who enacts the law and maintain order throughout Akasha. They are often in
charge of lands or particular projects given by the Owner. While their main objective is
to namely ensure that Akasha flows with its sense of Order, they are often the Owner’s
closer companions and thus are given their blessings of power. Their life is also tied to
the Owner’s. Should he fall, they fall. Depending on their final thoughts, the
Administators may be released from service and are free to live their own lives.

Disciples

In order to further push their agenda, an Administrator is allowed a Disciple or two to


accompany them. Disciples siphon off of an Administator’s power and vice versa,
enabling one to become an extreme threat should it be needed. Disciples may be
chosen from anyone, provided they create a pact with their Administrator.

Factions

Akashic Empire - A ​ kasha is the sanctuary for those fallen worlds and their inhabitants,
the library of knowledge unbound, and most importantly the melting pot of an infinite
number of possibilities and cultures melding into one. For a nation growing every
second that thought persists, one must have a sound foundation. A guardian one may
hide behind once the nightmarish terrors of this land take form and lash out is needed.
A gentle hand to both guide and keep those close is present to any and all who yearn
for it.

What Do They Do?

As a general whole, they keep the entirety of Akasha functioning as it should be it


through basic utilities, that of its governing bodies, or the military branches it
encompasses. While namely focusing on keeping both the state in check, the primary
concern is for leaders and those willing to work to take rise for the glory of Akasha.
Military positions are namely in demand as to keep back both domestic and potential
foreign threats that may come to harm our lands.

While they function in their own groups the ​Akashic Knights​ serve under the rule of the
Empire and collectively protect it.

How to Join?

Being a rather simple group, all one needs to do is request to join and specify what they
specialize in. Being in generally good standing is also a plus.

Leader?

Those with the Authorities, and once selected the Owner of the Akashic Records.
Whomever sits upon the Heavenly Throne has full claim over Akasha and her lands to
protect and assist in their future prosper.

Perks?

Varying upon the task undertaken, one can find themselves with the various health
benefits and wages. Weapons, armor and so forth are supplied as well as the general
equipment to get things done. Clearance to enter outposts and go to various levels of
the Chamber rather than simply the residence hall and other civilian areas is also
included. The list can go on, it all depends on what you do for the glory of Akasha.

Akashic Knights-

The Akashic Knights were formed in the midst of the End of the World, as one of the
last lines of defense between the encroaching cataclysm, and the denizens of the Land
of Memories. Lead by Willem Valkor, the Knights are dedicated to long lasting peace
and unity through survival and stratagem.

Regimented similar to that of armies of the modern day, the Knights are home to not
merely soldiers and policing officers, but literal knights of old, as well as seasoned
military officers and tacticians. Some are amalgams of all of these characteristics, whilst
others have no experience whatsoever.

The number of specialities and divisions grows with every passing moment, and the
opportunities abound for those that wish to not only remain alive or protect the ones
they love, but to serve the realm.

JPs- ​JP's, short for Japan Meteorological Agency, Geomagnetism Research


Department and pronounced "Jips,” is an organization in Devil Survivor 2 who are
responsible for investigating geomagnetism. The organization was founded by the
Hotsuin family.

What Do They Do?

The JPs are effectively the sole faction within Akasha dedicated with the silent watch
and eradication of super natural anomalies of both alien, demonic and godly
proportions. They also take a heavy note of the ongoings of other groups as well, acting
as something of an intelligence force in addition to an underground defense force.

The Leader?

Yamato Hotsuin is presently the standing leader.

Requirements?
Namely one must have a niche or be attuned to the properties of a Summoner. Having
a high aptitude for magic, being in peak physical condition and being mentally prepared
for a variety of challenges.

Perks?

Various bases about Akasha provide rooms, food and intelligence about a myriad of
subjects. One can expect to grow alongside their tasks in terms of power as well as the
obvious experience. Steady pay for steady work is granted as well.

NOL-

“Dispatched in mankind's darkest hour. We are knights of the blue flame!"

In the realm of Memories known as Akasha the NOL function as a mix between a private military
corporation and a police force. They certainly are nowhere near as large as they are in their own
world but they make up for it with tenacity and leadership. Led by Yūki Terumi, still under the
guise of Hazama they work to ensure that Akasha is kept safe by handling small time threats
and assisting JPs with large scale ones.

They only have two branches currently within Akasha, The Magic Formula Troops which make
up the bulk of their forces, various combatants between melee fighters and ranged mages as
well as those who use Ars Magus as artillery they are a fearsome foe to fight against for most
average threats.

The other is the Intelligence Department which has forgone their original uniform and works as
civilians whilst gathering intel which is reported back via couriers and sorted by those of the
department who could not obtain work outside of the NOL as a cover.

They have a hidden Cauldron moving across Akasha consistently, they use this to create basic
weakened Murakumo Units to deploy in the field alongside their Formula troops. Said
Murakumos cannot be compared to those they used to rely on as the current ones are made
from willing participant and only act as shock troopers rather than a legitimate Murakumo

Rock Army - Akasha Chapter

“We were wretched, but given purpose. We were nothing, made something by her. The Doctor
has given us life, given us another chance. For our family, for a better tomorrow, we fight!”
The Rock Army are the personal forces of the enigmatic entity known as the Doctor. There is a
branch in Akasha, that of a small base located in the mountains. They mostly keep to
themselves, but welcome outsiders to join their ranks.

What is their purpose?


If you were to ask a common member, they would not be able to answer you. For the Akasha
Chapter, the purpose and goals they have remain a bit mysterious, but they appear to be mainly
interested in both gaining a foothold…and finding some sort of information that the Doctor has
been seeking.

Who leads?
Chapters are lead by Grandmasters, who in turn answer to the Inner Circle, who in turn answer
to the one known as Doctor Rockwoman. The Akasha Chapter is currently overseen by
Grandmasters Iris and Natasha, though two more Grandmasters are due to be joining them
shortly.

Requirements?
One must have some sort of quality, or be seeking a chance to start fresh, or make a difference.
Regardless of one’s level of power or skills, so long as they show promise, the Rock-Army will
take them in as a Legionnaire. It should also be noted that hero or villain, good or bad, or
neutral, the Army takes all.

Perks?
Despite the core of the Rock-Army being comprised of Androids, those who become
Legionnaires become part of one big family. Housing is provided, food as well, along with
futuristic weaponry. For those who qualify, cybernetic enhancements are installed either on site,
or back in Rocktropolis, where the Doctor resides. If you’re lucky, a Legionnaire can even rise to
the rank of Legion Grandmaster, which has yet to happen.

Extra Information?
The Rock-Army is divided into two branches, the Rock-Androids, created by the Doctor, and the
Rock Legion, anyone else who has joined up. There is a type of social structure, those deemed
worthy will be permitted to move from their respective chapter to one day reside in Rocktropolis
with the Doctor herself. Its seen as quite a high honor among the Rock Androids to get to sit at
the Doctor’s table during the weekly communal meal held inside Rocktropolis. Rocktropolis is a
plane of existence that exists apart from many others, reachable only by “Conversion Gates”,
the exact nature of this realm remains unclear. Scientists are in high demand, as well as
doctors, due to the Rock-Army having literally a single medical doctor. Engineers are welcome
as well. In addition, if one wishes to join up, currently one must be approached by a member of
the Rock-Army, likely a Grandmaster, a Rock Trooper, or the Doctor herself, in her rare
excursions to the realm. In the future, a proper recruitment system will likely be established.

OOC Information
If one wishes to make an OC that’s already part of the Rock-Army, one has the option of
adopting a Grandmaster profile, or making a Legionnaire recruited early on from Akasha. Until
at least Iris and Natasha have admins, or their profiles up, I can’t do much anyway, need them

Who leads?

Nox Lacrima is the head of operations for the entirety of this particular sect of the Order,
and in addition a few others that fall under his ranks, should it grow even more powerful
within Akasha.

What do they do?

The Order of Agnis is a group that wishes to obliterate any and all threats that detract
from the ideal of peace for all. In addition, they wish to fully implant themselves within
Akasha for the sake of obliterating threats within a much more larger radius as well in
addition to being able to protect the realm. In order to do this, they wish to unite with as
many organizations, worlds and so forth in order to achieve their goals.

Requirements?

There are no genuine requirements to join the Agnis aside from loyalty to the cause
and having a particular area in which one may fit within. This niche can be combat,
analysis, medicinal, and so forth. A OC collection is stated to be made eventually for
those who want to plug in things to a skeleton of a character.

Subgroups?

Class XIII i​ s a subgroup of the Order of Agnis and ultimately features as their more
special forces.

Perks?

There’s a seemingly endless supply of knowledge, equipment and materials for many to
go about their own studies should they be interested, in addition the aspect of unity,
being in a organization that supports their fellow members, having a sense of peace and
a place within the eventual new world of peace they intend on creating are only a few
things. Pay is rather well to handsome depending on one’s rank, and each joining
member gets their own meal plan, room, and equipment to use as needed.
The House of Kings

The House of Kings is one of the major Fallen house, distinguishable by their yellow cloaks.
They plot and plan in secret, their power only matched by their cleverness. Among the
Eliksni they are unique, secretive, and dangerous. They hide in the shadows. Waiting.

The Eliksni were once graced by the Traveler, which they named the "Great Machine", and
were presumably uplifted by its gifts in the same manner as humanity. During this time, they
came to control multiple star systems until a event known as the Edge Wars brought
infighting among the Houses and was later ended by the House of Kings and the House of
Judgement to usher in a Golden Age.

Prior to arriving in the Solar System, the House of Kings was one of many Fallen Houses
struggling to survive in the wake of a cataclysmic event known as the Whirlwind. In the
aftermath of the fall, the Kings were said to have warred with the House of Wolves.

Years later, they would arrive in the Sol system, setting down on Earth alongside the the
House of Devils, although there are rumors they may have been to Mars as well. Despite
being on Earth, the King stay in the shadows, and they are rarely seen if at all.

The Kings however, did work a lot behind the shadows they so deeply enjoyed to hide in,
however there were times the Kings ran into snags for not working with other Houses.
Because of this, the current detachment of Kings, lead by Daleks Balzork, was lost to the
“Infinite Forests” on Mercury, only to be recovered by Kell Iris, of the House of Blood. Their
move to Akasha was prompted by a outside party and their own determination to survive.

Akasha LoM: Extended Lore

The use of this “lore” page is to include a variety of other non-original pieces of lore
revolving around Akasha and their applications within the world that this RP Community
takes place in. Within it are a variety of terms and concepts that will be expounded upon

The Aura Gate

The Aura Gate is featured as an added “attachment” onto what is known as “Naraku”
now. Built as being a pool of energy by the collective unconsciousness of humanity, The
Aura Gate remains an unexplored oddity that has connections with the Expanse.
Ultimately, this Gate possesses the innate ability to allow the “otherworldly” to spawn
within it and to eventually make its way outside to the real world. Within the Aura Gate,
one’s own stamina and typical might is dampened by the need to push oneself to its
limits to simply exist within the deeper sects of its sprawling labyrinth. [More data will be
added.]

The Great Will - The Axiom

Created in conjunction with a “universe” under the direct care of Akasha, implanted
alongside the Akashic Records to keep track of Observations and to create “Messiahs”
as needed, The Great Will functions in unison with the Akashic Records, existing
outside of everything and merely taking observations. In addition, the Axiom gives birth
to the beliefs and thoughts put together by the wills of those who exist under its
observation. This leads to the creation of gods, demons, and all other manner of things.

The Expanse - The Demon World

While not inherently limited to just those within the Megami Tensei franchise, The
Expanse has opened to allow passage between the demon world and to our own
physical plane of existence. Typically, this demands travel through the Aura Gate itself,
but usually this is a simple roadblock for higher powered entities who make use of
Naraku’s rifts to leave.

Demon Summoning Application

While free to the public, those utilizing the Summoning Application will need to register
with “JPs” in order to keep track of present users and the demons summoned within the
area. The Summoning Application features the bare basics of a composite, yet
simplified summoning program with frequent updates, the ability to store up to 4
demons for newcomers, demonic fusion, and a variety of applications for one to
“enhance” themselves by using demonic power for themselves once their demon allows
them to. Magnetite does not need to be gathered for the use of this application, and a
“COMP” can be modified from a variety of objects as needed.

Persona Summoning

There is no special medium needed to be utilized by any Persona users due to the
nature of Akasha itself. Calling upon one’s Persona by simply invoking it through
whatever means they did so in their respective origin point remains to be the same,
base way to summon Personas.
The Velvet Room - Performing Fusions

The Room may spawn in areas as the various users may so desire it. In the event that a
“true” Velvet Room may not be found due to a lack of attendants, a faux one will be
forged by Akasha to service the needs of the certain Persona Users.

The Metaverse

The Metaverse and otherwise similar realms introduced into Persona can be
“maintained” within Akasha as well when the need calls. However, entities outside of the
Persona verse can detect these phenomena provided they have the justification and
reasoning. Moreover, the Metaverse itself will function akin to the “Real World” if a
Persona User is not within a Palace of sorts or does not have a genuine target.

such as the souls of man, phantasmal beast, and heroic spirits as well as the Throne of
Heroes is a basic concept within the realm of memories. Acting as something akin to a

but can fully be called upon my the Stratum.
