When our journy started in this university majority of us didn’t know about guidance
center or the events held in university, but because of the active pages of our
university leads us towards the auditions conducted for the 6 socities which were
founded a long time ago
but they were not very
stable, they got new
platform AZAM E
PAKISTANI program which
make them stable and
provided them the best
trainers, instruments and
platforms to perform, a
great opportunity was provided to us, there was no favoritism done in any society
auditions, each and every student was selected on the basis of their talent.
Our band was made with the
combination of students having
different backgrounds and
departments and the trainer we got
was Sir Arsalan pareyal. This was a 6
month program, in which every thing
was provided by Guidance center,
teachers of Guidance center
supproted us alot in every situation.
These past 6 months with the band
team, sir arsalan and teachers of
Guidance center, were a learning experience for us. We all experienced growth as
musicians, we are very grateful that Guidance center gives us this opportunity and
selected such talented individuals and a big round of applause for sir arsalan who
gathered us as a great team. We prepared 4 songs for the event conducted by MAD
school in BBSUL, songs were “Bibi
Sheerini” it was a cover song and Sufi
kalam “Allah hu” other 2 songs were
composed by us which were “uniform”
and “Ranjhana”.. We also represented
our unity being SSUETIAN’s by wearing
uniforms which made us unique as
compared to others, our this way
representation was really appreciated by
every audience there in BBSUL. Six
universities participated in this event and
we got 2nd position. Sir Arsalan guided us on every single step, he unleashed our
inner artists and give us confidence to explore our own selves.
It was an honor
working with such
talented people, we
hope that these type of
activities should always
be a part of our
university.
