OBJECTIVE:

Desire progressive organization where my experience in Server, Storage and Testing could

PROJECT 2 [LSI Technologies : august 2014 Till october 2017]

Project : Emerald_FC (Raid controllers)

Description: RAID is a vital component in storage sub-system. With current rate of

increasing data storage ,RAID technology is playing a dominant role in storage sub-system.
In today’s demanding market, businesses are purely based on quality and reliability.
Companies bank on quality and reliability of the product they sell, our project aid such
businesses in making the computer components more reliable and has minimum
maintainable cost.
We achieve this by performing testing on storage sub-systems like RAID controllers, HDD’s
before they are presented before the end customers.

Roles and responsibilities


 Involved in executing test cases designed for functionalities of the product.
 Setting up the rack, clamping, mounting, and cabling.
 Executing the scenarios and test cases provided by customers and involved in regression as well.
 Logging and tracking the defects till closure.
 Executing test cases with different servers, switches, alert policies, firmware upgradation.
 Executing the functional test cases on different types of configurations.
 Involved in testing of new Features implemented for next release
 Integration testing on different types of controllers attached to hosts with different OS’s.
 Reviewing in Designing the test cases for the product.
 Setting up the rack, clamping, mounting, and cabling when server configuration is needed
 Flashing firmware and updating it.
