$575 million from Alibaba group for a share of 25% in the company.
 Paytm was founded in August 2010 with an initial investment of $2 million by its
founder Vijay Shekhar Sharma. It started off as a prepaid mobile and DTH recharge

CORPORATE IDENTITY OF PAYTM
 A corporate identity or corporate image is the manner which a corporation, firm or
business presents themselves to the public (such as customers and investors as well as
employees).
 A corporate identity is the bigger picture of all the visual and sensual aspects of a
company.
 Logo design; stationery; marketing collateral such as print brochures and direct mail;
website design, email, social media; online, radio, magazine, billboard and display
advertising; product design and packaging; employee uniforms; corporate signage and
vehicle graphic.
 Paytm long term vision is “Making India a cashless economy”, and that involves
penetrating into all economic of the country.
 MISSION:- This is one of the greatest journeys we have undertaken. While we are
focused on this mission, we are working equally hard to be the most trusted mobile
commerce brand in the country.
MEDIA RELATIONS
 Media is a crucial part of our every day lives. It is how we communicate with others, seek new
information, and connect with new people. In this day and age it is our lifeline to the outside
world. It is only reasonable to assume the government feels the same way about media. The
government uses different types of media every single day. From commercials and advertising
to social media networks- the government has an influential role in every aspect of these
technologies.
 The Government have to be extremely careful as to what they put on their sites and I would
definitely consider this “ANTISOCIAL” behaviour. Press Council of India chairman Justice
(retired) CK Prasad said that the media should not have a “cordial relationship” with the
government.
Prasad said, “You are crusaders of trust. You are bound to come into conflict with the
government and the authorities. I am of the opinion that if there is no conflict between
journalists and government, that day perhaps will be the saddest day for our democracy.”
