I. OFFER
(PRODUCT/SERVICE)
Offering: Flat tops and Krim Stick

Explanation: The library is a place where many

students would spend their time. Food is forbidden
inside the library. The group thought of how it is
also a place where one could easily fall asleep to
because of the cold room temperature and the
condition of the students staying there. Flap tops
and Krim Stick are “sweets” known by many.. It is
not the messy type of food which makes it
convenient for students to consume. These sweets
could provide sugar rush that could make them
awake.

II. HOW DID YOU DO IT

Strategy: The group simply thought of what could be the
easiest thing that could sell to the market --- food. It is
easily consumable and while some would think twice of
buying the product. They already know that it has value
and can help them be satisified. The group represented
to the market how they know the struggle of a student
and offered something that could temporarily assist
them and help them stay awake.

From the budget of P54.3 pesos, the group earned P90.00 sales over the
products sold. Subtracting the expenses from the sales is equal to the profit
earned by the group. Hence, the group earned P35.7 of profit from selling
the goods.

IV. WILL IT LAST- IS THE

BUSINESS SUSTAINABLE?
Sustainability: In building or starting your
own business you must first identify or
know the ways on how your business will
run for a long term or become a fully
fledged business. In line with this, you
should focus on constants reinvention in
which you must stand still and embrace
change because the taste or demand of
people is changing. Thus, it is possible to
run this business for a long-term since it can
help the student to have a sugar rush
especially when they don’t have enough
sleep or energy and it can also be
alternative snack or also known as
‘’Pampalipas gutom’’ for those students
who don’t have time to eat because of their
school works.

Risks involved: There are certain instances in
which the group must take into
consideration while transforming this idea
into a product/service: (1) Donating our
personal time, (2) Estimating popular
interest, (3) Sacrificing personal capital, (4)
Product risk, (5) Execution Risk and (6)
Market risk.
