CIRCLE ADVANCEMENT REPORT


Activity : WSEP Aim 1 Completion

Date : April 29, 2019

Location : Wawa Dam, Rodriguez, Rizal

Situation : The Rover Scouts of Roosevelt College, Inc. – Rodriguez have to complete the six different aims
in order to achieve the WSEP (World Scout Environment Programme) Badge. They will be
heading to Wawa Dam found in their local community, Rodriguez to complete the first aim.

Coordination : Municipality of Rodriguez, Administrators of Sitio Wawa, Department of Energy and Natural
Resources

Objectives : The Scouts, once finished with the tasks given (and stated in their worksheets), will officially be
done with the Aim 1 for their WSEP Badge. In order to finish the tasks, they need to trek and
pass by two bridges. Upon reaching the end point of Wawa Dam, they will observe natural and
man-made changes happening to the river. They will then answer their worksheets in
accordance to the activity.

Utilities : Process fee of P120, coloring materials, printed worksheets, glass jars

Execution : Once the Scouts finish trekking to the end point of Wawa Dam, they will start observing the
natural and man-made changes that have happened to the river. RS Karl Lyel B. Lim will be
guiding the Scouts, telling them three points of the river they will need to observe. The Scouts
will then collect water samples from the river and see the differences of each collecting point,
where each point differs by the number of local settlers near the river and tourists. Once done,
the Scouts will gather once again to answer the worksheets based on their observations.

Review / Report : This activity was done successfully by the Rover Scouts of Roosevelt College, inc. – Rodriguez
with no difficulty. Each activity within Aim 1 was carefully spearheaded by RS Karl Lyel B. Lim,
making sure the Scouts were doing it properly.
