Flowers on the altar this weekend are sponsored by Denny & Lois Braesch in honor of
grandchildren summer birthdays; and by Diane Sobotka in honor of family birthdays.
Additional arrangements are sponsored by Gayle & Donna Short in celebration of Kimberly
& Kevin’s wedding anniversary; and by Charles & Bonnie Starkey in loving memory of Kevin.

THANK YOU to all those who provide music in many, many ways during our worship
services. Thank you to all the musicians without whom we would wander in the wilderness
and for all those who lead us in singing. Thanks also to those whose talents include writing
music, singing solos or in small groups. Your gifts are great!

A Garden Work Night is scheduled for Wednesday, July 17th, anytime from 4:30 pm and
ending by 6 pm. We will be cleaning up, clipping, etc. Hope to see you there!

Worship Services can now be viewed in their entirety on St. John’s facebook page at

If you ever wondered what happens to the

leaves on the Prayer Tree after their
“season” has passed, the leaves are moved
from the tree to the Prayer Room where
they will stay until Ash Wednesday, when
they will then be burned.
