Loss of Doppler Spectrum

APPLIES TO:
Vivid 7 models with BT-02 Software v2.x.x and Vivid 7 RFT models with Software v3.x.x and 3.x.x.

PROBLEM:
Intermittantly no Doppler spectrum, just a constant signal in the spectrum.

CAUSE:
Marginal timing on Doppler board

SOLUTION:
Exchange Faulty Doppler board with another Doppler board that has Part Number: FB200865

PROCEDURE:

WARNING DO NOT TOUCH ANY BOARDS WITH INTEGRATED CIRCUITS PRIOR TO TAKING THE
NECESSARY ESD PRECAUTIONS:
1. ALWAYS CONNECT YOURSELF, VIA AN ARM-WRIST STRAP, TO THE ADVISED ESD
CONNECTION POINT LOCATED ON THE REAR OF THE SCANNER (TO THE RIGHT OF
THE POWER CONNECTOR).
2. FOLLOW GENERAL GUIDELINES FOR HANDLING OF ELECTROSTATIC SENSITIVE
EQUIPMENT.
1.) Shut down Scanner.
2.) Remove the Scanner Side Panel that gives access to the Card Rack.
3.) Remove the Card Rack Front.
4.) Exchange Doppler Boards.
5.) Install Card Rack Front, Side Panel and Boot Up.
