been teachers themselves and have taught more than 10,000 students between

equally passionate individuals to join us in making this vision a reality. We have
already started to make some noise and shorten the sleep-span of some education
bureaucrats.

Opportunity with Vedantu:

Vedantu is looking at providing an opportunity for students to directly impact the growth
and the associated business drivers. Since the students are currently in their final year
of college, the company would be only able to absorb the candidates on a full time
position after they graduate from their campus. The fixed component in the same
should be about INR 4 lakhs per annum and about INR 3 lakhs per annum as variable
pay. The variable pay can go up to about INR 8 lakhs per annum basis their
performance. The candidates would work with us on projects ranging in the domain of
sales and marketing for a period of 4-6 months. The candidates would be expected to
quickly pick up skills in sales and marketing and drive business goals. This presents
the candidates with an opportunity to grow with the company and shape the strategic
direction in the domains they are associated with.

The candidates would be provided with a basic stipend of INR 25,000 per month post
successful completion training for 3 weeks.
Vedantu believes in nurturing the candidates during the probation period so that they
can go onto absorb bigger responsibilities in the organisation. Hence, the candidates
(basis the performance during the probation period) would be presented with an
opportunity to join the company upon completion of their graduation from college. The
final role allocation would depend upon the interests of the students and the available
opportunities within the company at the time of joining.

Roles & Responsibility

This role is combination of Sales, Marketing.

• Sales: (70%)
o Present, promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to
prospective customers
o Understand customer’s requirements and pitch products accordingly
from the available product offerings of the company
o Reach out to customers through cold calling and schedule home demo
for final sales
• Marketing: (30%)
o Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends and plan
marketing activities
o Generate customer leads by running various marketing campaigns in
their region

Skills and Experience Required:

• Final/pre-final year engineering students


• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Strong written and verbal communication with impeccable attention to finer details
• Demonstrated leadership of leading initiatives and projects
• Fluent spoken and written English
• Highly motivated individuals who are performance driven and goal oriented
• Start-up (all-hands-on-deck) approach

Recruitment Process:

• Case Study- shred in JD on page number 2 with solution framework which needs
to be presented at the time of interview.
• Basic Aptitude & English Test- 30 min test just before the interview.

Internship Clause Terms and Conditions

• Upon joining, you’re Traveling Expenses from home to Bangalore and back to your
home location will be reimbursed to you, subject to a maximum limit of Rs. 12,000.
Accommodation shall be taken care of by the organization during the training
period of 3 weeks.

1. Candidates hired for all location (Except


Chennai/Coimbatore/Hyderabad/Vijayawada) may travel by flight (subject to a
capping of Rs. 12,000 round trip)
2. Candidates across other locations (), may choose to travel by Volvo Bus/Train
2AC/3AC. Flights will not be reimbursed for these locations.

• Initial 3 weeks will be dedicated only for training purpose. Internship and stipend
start after the successful completion of the 3 weeks of training.
Case Study (To be presented at the time of interview, do the solution beforehand)

You met Ramesh father & mother along with Ramesh at his home. His father
says Ramesh has taken PCMB in class 11 th and confused between JEE &
NEET. Ramesh had scored 83% in 10th CBSE Board. What solution will provide
to Ramesh father and justify your solution.
Solution Framework of Case Study
• Need Analysis- Did you understand what is the requirement of the student and
parent through probing?
• Syllabus- Did you explain the syllabus/academics which needs to be covered
to fulfill the need/aspiration?
• Test Prep- Have you explained the parent what kind of preparation child needs
to do to achieve the aspiration which you identified during the need analysis
• Assessment- What kind of assessment will you conduct to make the parent
realise where the child is lacking and what kind of support he/she require. How
will you identify this?
• Planning/ Solution- Have you provided the solution based upon need analysis,
test preparation & assessment data. Does your solution capture emotional &
fear aspect, concentration issue, how to build the interest so that child doesn’t
lose focus from the end result he/she wants to achieve, confidence required to
achieve that aspiration, have you explained the existing competition in that field,
personal guidance required to achieve the aspiration/fulfill the need, how
important time management is to achieve that aspiration.
