MESSAGE FROM DAN RADAKOVICH
Clemson Family,

We’re excited to welcome you back to Memorial Stadium in 2019. You give our football program a true home field
advantage every week, and make an enormous impact on our community and our University on gameday. Please take
a few moments to review this Fan Guide as you and your family make seven trips to Death Valley.

Many of the policies and procedures in the stadium will remain familiar for the 2019 season, including the Clear
Bag policy and pass-outs. Your suggestions, requests and comments have led to numerous improvements, includ-
ing updated restrooms, more diverse concessions offerings, and various touches around the stadium to make your
experience positive.

As many of us are aware, the process of bringing 80,000-plus of our family into and out of Memorial Stadium safely
is our utmost priority. As such, at the recommendation of Clemson University Police and looking across the college
football landscape at other policies, metal detectors will be instituted at all gates for the 2019 season. We under-
stand that this will feel unfamiliar at first, but allowing a few extra minutes to enter the stadium will lead to a more
enjoyable process.

We’re constantly looking for ways to make your experience better, and encourage
you to contact us with your thoughts at fanfeedback@clemson.edu.

Off the field, the ACC Network launches in August, and

we are excited for the increased exposure and opportunity
that it will provide for all of our programs. Make sure
to check that your provider carries the network by
visiting GetACCN.com. If they don’t, make sure to
call and email them to request it. Your voice matters!

We are anticipating another fantastic home season

in Memorial Stadium, and are extremely grateful
for your continued support of IPTAY and our
football program.
Sincerely,

Dan Radakovich
Director of Athletics

GATES
NEW FOR 2019:
In an effort to enhance the security of fans attending Clemson home football games, Clemson
University is implementing walk-through metal detectors at all gates of Memorial Stadium on game
days. This helps our fans, student-athletes, coaches and gameday personnel enjoy the games in
as safe of an environment as possible. Fans are asked to follow the instructions of gate security
personnel and remove requested items from pockets before passing through the metal detectors.
Memorial Stadium gates open two hours prior to kick-off. Clemson encourages all fans to arrive
early and to allow extra time for entry.
The Clear Bag policy is now in its fourth year. All visitors to Memorial Stadium must adhere to the
clear bag policy. Each clear bag will be inspected by gate staff at the metal detector screening
tables. Prohibited items must be returned to the owner’s vehicle or discarded. See the list of
prohibited items on page 16. Please see infographic below for additional information on the clear
bag policy:

• Recommended Entrances
o Lower Deck Ticket Holders – Enter at Gate 1, 5, 9, 11, or 13
o Upper Deck Ticket Holders – Enter at Gate 16 (south) or Gate 20 (north)
o North Suite Ticket Holders – Enter at Gate 6 or Gate 20
o South Suite / South Club Ticket Holders – Enter at Gate 16
• ADA entrances are located at Gate 1, 5, and 13.
• All tickets are scanned upon entry.
• Children ages two and younger do not require a ticket for admission. Any person three
years or older must have a valid game ticket.
