2019 MTAP-DEPED SATURDAY PROGRAM IN MATHEMATICS

FOR REGULAR AND TALENTED LEARNERS

1. In line with BESRA KRT 3 on the increasing social support to attain desired
learning outcomes, the Schools Division of Lipa City through the Curriculum and
Implementation Division (CID) will conduct the 2019 MTAP-DepEd Saturday Mathematics
Programs for regular learners on August 31 to October 5, 2019 and for talented learners on
October 26 to December 14, 2019.
2. These programs aim to:
a. provide learners with the opportunity to explore Mathematics without the threat
of tests;
b. review the materials covered last school year to enable them to do well in
Mathematics in the present school year;
c. prepare Grade 6 and 10 learners for the private school’s entrance
examinations for Junior High School and Senior High School, respectively; and,
d. prepare them for the local, regional, national and international Mathematics
competitions.
3. A written permit from parent/guardian is a requirement and a registration fee of
Php 200.00 for the whole series or 6 Saturdays of Regular Program and Php 250.00 for the
whole series or 7 Saturdays of Talented Program.
4. List of Participants and Registration Fee shall be submitted to the Center
Coordinator a week before the start of the program to determine the needed materials.
5. School Heads of the Center Schools, Coordinators, Head Teachers in
Mathematics and Schools District Supervisors shall have a meeting on July 31(1:30 pm),
2019 at Inosloban-Marawoy Integrated National High School.
6. Immediate and wide dissemination of this Memorandum to all concerned is
earnestly desired.
